If you're questioning whether you should read on, just know I personally own 14 of these items and truly believe they are game-changers.

The set comes with locks (with strong 3M double-sided tape on the back) and two keys.

Promising review: "These are awesome! I spent hours with a drill and screwdriver installing push-down locks on cupboards five years ago. I now have another crawling baby and those ones are all broken. I was dreading installing new ones and saw these. They literally go on in seconds, the bracket means it lines up perfectly, and the adhesive is strong! My older kids think the magnet key is super fun. Baby stays out of the chemicals, and I put one on the trash door so the dog stays out of the trash, so everyone gets to live longer. Win-win. I also love that you can 'turn' them off and on so when my kids are bigger we can flip the switch but if little kids were visiting, we could put them back on." —Joseph J. Krakker

Promising review: "This thing is worth its weight in gold! A must have in my opinion because it makes life so much easier. We use it with gripe water or Tylenol around her immunizations. We bought it because she would cough and sputter because she wouldn't swallow well when given it in the cheek even in tiny amounts. It makes it a much faster process because all she has to do it suck like using a normal bottle or paci and she has never turned away because of taste either. It also happens to soothe like a regular paci afterward. Great buy." —Sullivan

Promising reviews: "The Oxo dispenser eliminates all struggles that I’ve experienced with other dispensers before it. I love that I’m able to pull out wipes, ONE at a time, without any difficulty or needing to use two hands.. that aspect alone has made life so much easier. I highly recommend it! And the next time you’re in another crappy situation (you know the one), you will thank yourself for buying this." —Sammy B

"Look — this isn't something that is absolutely necessary, but it sure does make life a lot easier. We love Water Wipes, but they are so freaking annoying to get out of the package. I finally broke down once the baby was moving a lot more and I didn't want to fight with her and the wipes. It makes getting them out so much easier and I never have the problem of multiple wipes coming out anymore. I hate that I had to spend $20 for this, but honestly it's worth it since I'll be wiping butts for many years to come." —Chastity H

Reviewers say this spray will leave wavy or curly hair (from 2a–4c hair) shiny, soft, and bouncy.

Promising review: "This is my favorite product for my daughter. It really moisturizes her curls. I love seeing how beautiful and bouncy her curls get. It made my life easier styling it. The scent is a plus, also. Definitely recommend, and I will be stocking up" —Girl_mom

Promising review: "I absolutely love this product. Especially because with a husband and a son, they tend to sprinkle on the toilet seat in the middle of the night. With the color set to any bright color (like white, yellow, green, or blue) it illuminates every single sprinkle on the seat! You will no longer have a bottom wet with pee in the middle of the night! When I purchased this I bought a case of AAA batteries thinking I would have to change them often (with six people in the house they get used often). However I have not had to change the batteries once in a few months! Also the sensor is super sensitive so it turns on as you come through the door, or even a little before. Just a great product all around. Definitely recommend for households with children, you won't have to leave your bathroom light in all night anymore either! #MomWin." —Angela

Bonus: it's not just for babies; adult reviewers swear by it too.

Promising review: "I put this in my 4-month-old daughter's bassinet. It has made naps and bedtime so easy! I went from walking her around, rocking her, laying by her for sometimes hours with both of us tired and frustrated, to feeding her, turning this on, laying her down and walking away. It helps her soothe herself to sleep. And in a matter of minutes. Now she can spend time in my arms happy not crying and frustrated with me trying to get her to sleep." —Amelia

Promising reviews: "I love this tool. It has made my life much easier now that my 4-year-old can unbuckle himself when it’s time to get out of the car. (He knows he will lose the privilege if he tries to unbuckle without permission.) He appreciates any opportunities I can give him to be a little more independent." —R Hawk

"This device is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! It works as advertised, doesn’t require a learning curve, and makes life with a child (grandchild) easier. Better yet, three adults with zero mechanical skills are already using it. Everybody wants one for their keychain, so to avoid any family arguments, I will order two more. I have large hands, so the wide pressing area works well. The area is also made with a non-slip cushioned covering, which is a big help! Before I purchased this device, pushing the red car seat button was sometimes problematic, but no longer. Do yourself a favor and destress a small part of your life — you will love it." —yogaski

Promising review: "It WORKS! Daughter has bad reactions to mosquitoes and gets painful welts. We used this and immediately the swelling went down, and they didn't itch or give her pain... Why hasn't this been around for 100 years... It's so simple, easy, and effective!" —Amy Joiner

I LOVE being able to make them at home and customize them to exactly what they would like them filled with! It can even work on grass, blood, oil, and other stubborn stains.

Promising review: "So I am a mom of a nourished, happy, almost 9-month-old boy.... Who has given us more than our fair share of mustard yellow to orange, bright breast milk diaper blowouts? Let me tell you, they make one heck of a stain. I had Resolve stain remover and Honest Company stain remover... A stain still remained after using and scrubbing. This stuff, Grandma’s Secret, WORKS. What I do is rinse the clothing of any remaining 'residue,' spray with Grandma's Secret, scrub it in a bit, let it sit for a few minutes, and either I’ll rinse it out after or it may sit for a day or so before going through the wash, but either way, STAIN IS GONE!" —Mellisa B.

IDK about you, but the thought of cream getting stuck under my nails gives me the ick like no other. This is seriously such a genius invention, I think any parent should have it. Plus, it provides an even distribution of diaper cream, and you don't have to contort your hand into awkward positions to apply it to the right places.

Promising review: "Yes, it’s weird. I laughed (to myself) when I got one as a baby gift. Then my baby got her first rash, and after wrestling a diaper closed with fingers covered in diaper cream, I remembered this and, oh boy, what a lifesaver. It applies cream evenly and wipes clean. I now have two and will probably buy a third for the diaper bag. It’s also nice for people with sensory issues or who are new to diaper-changing. Yes, it’s weird, but it’s also super useful." —jp

ChooMee is a small biz based in Northern California, owned by a mom, that specializes in innovative products that solve everyday feeding challenges.

I got these for my daughter because she thought it was hilarious to turn her pouch upside down and watch alllllll the yogurt pour out. These have allowed me to give her the freedom to feed herself without worrying about my house smelling like rotten milk for the rest of time. You can still suck out of them really easily; they just can't be poured or squeezed out.

Promising review: "I am OBSESSED. I saw these on TikTok and ran to Amazon... So glad I did! My toddler loves yogurt/applesauce pouches, but started purposely dumping and squeezing the contents out. But these make it absolutely impossible for her to do that without making it difficult to eat! I tested them, and it’s SO easy to drink from, but I couldn't squeeze anything out. 10/10 recommend. I’m definitely buying more." —Amanda

Tushbaby is a small biz run by three California mamas and specializes in products that bring a little more ease to everyday parenting life.

Promising review: "I saw this on Shark Tank as I was sitting with a glass of wine in my hand and had just taken an Advil to relieve the kink in my back from carrying my 25-pound little one around — I bought it immediately! It’s been great! Easy to use once you adjust it a few times for fit and comfort. Certainly much better on the back than the Mommy hip shelf. I use it daily as we go on walks. When she gets tired and wants to be carried, I can just sit her right on and go. Plus, it’s got handy storage pockets for the phone and snacks, and doggie poops bags for our four-legged family member. Highly recommended for those who have a toddler who wants to walk but not at the endurance level yet to make it the whole way!" —wildcatsarahj

These are designed for children ages 9 months to 4 years (up to 44 pounds).

Oftentimes, I have myself a stage five clinger, and let me tell you, those 25 pounds start feeling realllyyyyy heavy after walking around for 20+ minutes. This is amazing because it holds them up from their butt to help take some of the weight off my hip, so I am not doing that awkward side bend trying to stick my hip out for more support. It's super easy for my daughter to get in and out of, so when she starts squirming to get down, I can get her out, and then when she inevitably wants to get back up like five minutes later, I can do that too.

Promising review: "It's beautiful and easy to use. I loved everything about it, and I loved the handwritten letter even more. It made me say, 'Awww!' It made me feel so close to the brand. That's highly appreciated. I loved it. And the baby carrier is excellent. It significantly reduces the baby's weight and makes walking with a baby on your hips easier. It's saved me a lot. Thank you, thank you, thank you." —Sofia S.

This easily screws into the faceplate of your outlet, so you don't have to worry about adding any extra holes to your wall.

Promising review: "This is the best outlet protector I have tried, and I've tried several. From simple socket plugs to outlet covers, my son could access the outlets at the age of nine months. This one, however, securely covers the entire outlet and screws into the existing base. It is difficult for someone (even an adult) with small hands to open, requiring a good-sized spread of the hand to press on the latches on either side of the unit to lift the lid. The beauty of it, though, is that you can plug things into the outlet without the kids being able to get into it, AND add or remove a device from the socket with ease. Definitely a good investment and should last for several years without being disturbed by curious and grubby little hands. It's a keeper." —AntKathy

I'm sorry, I love my baby girl immensely, but there is NO WAY I'm taking what's essentially a straw, putting it in her nose and SUCKING HER BOOGERS OUT?! Like, you've got to be kidding me, just the thought of that makes me gag. Sure, you can try to tell me there's a little filter inside so they won't actually get in my mouth, but no, I will not be partaking in that. I would much rather pay a little extra to have it done automatically and wayyyy the heck away from my mouth. A little insider tip: grab some saline drops to help loosen stuff up before going in with the aspirator.

Promising review: "As a mom of four, I’ve tried my fair share of baby products, and when it comes to keeping little noses clear, a good nasal aspirator is a game-changer. I recently tried the Grownsy Baby Nasal Aspirator, and I have to say — it’s a lifesaver! One of the things I love most about this aspirator is how easy it is to use. The design is simple and intuitive. The soft silicone tip is gentle on my baby’s tiny nostrils, and the suction is strong enough to clear mucus without causing discomfort. This is the only nasal aspirator I found that does not leak. Cleaning is a breeze. The parts easily come apart, and I love that it’s washable." —Amazon Customer

Promising reviews: "These are a game-changer! Worth the purchase. Our newborn pees and poops so much that we had to constantly change the reusable changing pads. These disposable pads hold up great, don’t leak through, and are a good size for a changing table." —Olivia Dodrill

"These are perfect for on-the-go use. I have definitely been caught off guard with pee in the middle of a diaper change, and these absorb really well. Better than the changing mats because, although waterproof, they don't absorb, so the pee just runs everywhere. I even use them on our home changing table just in case of an accident. Also, really good for changing a poopy diaper, so nothing gets on your changing pad. You can just roll everything up in it when you're done and dispose. They are a good size as well to make sure you have everything covered and contained." —Davena C.

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Heather Braga has this and says, "When I had my first child, I used the Baby Brezza Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer, which is absolutely fantastic, but still had to hand-wash and scrub the bottles before popping them into the machine. This new FANTASTIC model takes that completely out of the equation. I got it before having my daughter, and it has truly changed my life — not an exaggeration. I haven't used a bottle brush ONCE, and she's almost eight months old! It has six different cleaning modes, but I always use the 88-minute one that does all three features. The only somewhat downside is you'll need to purchase detergent tablets, but I promise you it's worth it.

Here's what you'll need to do: fill the front partition of the machine with your bottles/nipples (or pump parts, whatever) and drop the detergent tablet into the bottom. Next, empty any water from previous cycles from the water basin and replace it back into the machine. Finally, fill the top container with clean (I used filtered) water up to the max line mark, then pop that back in as well. Choose which cycle you want to run and, BOOM, you're done! The whole water-dumping/refilling process probably takes about... Five minutes? It is a bit bulky, so rather than keep ours in the kitchen, we leave it on top of our washing machine. It's also worth noting that it holds four bottles at once, so we typically need to run it twice a day. TL;DR: It's a miracle machine."

This has the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.

As you can imagine, babies' skin is sensitive, and there are soooo many different ointments and treatments out there, it can be hard to know. I think I'm drawn to this for a few reasons: I personally use Aquaphor products and love them so I have experience with them and feel comfortable with them, it has sooo many different uses so I can just have one product on hand instead of a bunch of different ones, and it's pretty cheap (especially compared to other products) and comes in a hefty size so you won't have to constantly buy refills.

Promising reviews: "This has been the ONLY thing to help clear my newborn’s diaper rash! Even other Aquaphor products did not help. This stuff really works! So happy!" —KC

"I can't recommend Aquaphor enough! It's been a lifesaver for my baby's delicate skin. Whenever I've tried other products, my little one ended up with diaper rash and discomfort. But with Aquaphor, his skin stays moisturized and nourished. It's truly the best." —Rosa

Get it from Amazon for $18.37 (also available in a bundle with a travel-size tube).

I got this for my daughter, and I can tell it makes a huuuuge difference. Pack-and-play mattresses and notoriously uncomfortable, but this one actually has some padding. It is also made from Newton's traditional material, that is breathable, unlike other brands. It's significantly larger than the old one I had, which I can tell is a lot more comfortable for my daughter. She is quite petite, but she flips and flops all over the place while she is sleeping, so having this space helps prevent her from slamming her head into the sides. The only drawback is that it is a little bit larger when packed up (which makes sense since it's so much bigger when built). But honestly, that doesn't bother me too much. When we check it on an airplane, those extra few inches don't make a difference. I can see it becoming an issue if you already have limited space on a road trip, but we were able to fit it in my trunk with no issue (even though we were stuffed to the brim because babies have A LOT of stuff to travel with).

Check out the travel crib in action on TikTok.

Promising review: "The deluxe travel crib and play-yard is exactly what I was looking for. My almost 2-year-old toddler is tall enough to climb out of a standard pack-and-play and won't sleep unless she is contained. (Which is fun to learn when you’re in a hotel room on vacation in a small town with limited shopping options 🫠). This is the only travel crib I could find that would keep her in so we can actually spend the night away from home again." —Heather

Promising review: "Great for bath time. As a first-time mom, this has made bathtime easy. Leaves out all of the guesswork regarding the temperature of the water. It lets you know when the water temperature is too hot for the baby and when it’s the perfect temperature. The battery had lasted a while, we use it 3–4 times a week and for over four months. Also, it’s cute! Who doesn’t love the original rubber ducky?!" —Linds

I feel like there's a trend out there of creating diaper carts with all the essentials you'd need throughout the day, but I couldn't have one of those cause I live in a three-story townhouse, and I'm not about to be lugging a cart up and down the stairs. This was a great option for me cause it has a bunch of different sections and pockets where I can store different items and know where they all are without just having them thrown into a center section and having to dig around to find what I need.

Promising review: "I got this for my friend as a baby shower gift. I had received one myself for my own baby. My baby is now nine months old, and I still use it. It’s great to be able to just grab this caddy and have everything you need. I’d even fit my Stanley Cup in it, snacks, and whatever else I needed. I love the little side pockets it has as well. My friend also said that she loves hers!" —Josh & Kelsie

Promising review: "I absolutely love this Hatch light machine! I use it every night for feedings and diaper changes with my newborn, and it has been a total game-changer. The soft, adjustable light keeps my baby from waking up completely during nighttime routines, which makes getting him back to sleep so much easier. It also doesn’t disturb my husband’s sleep at all, which is a huge bonus. It’s super functional. I’m able to just touch the top and it turns out without trying to figure out which button is the power. I keep mine plugged in so the battery life if great. It’s the perfect size for a nightstand. It’s simple to use, gives off the perfect amount of light, and has become an essential part of our nighttime setup. Highly recommend for any new parents!" —Emily Richardson
