There are some purchases that just...stand out. And when a reviewer calls something "the best thing I bought all year," you know it's really good. 

So here are a bunch of products reviewers call their best buys of the year (or even longer), including a tool to make bathing your pet so much easier, the best tower fan on the market, and a *truly* leak-proof tumbler.

The setup includes light strips that go around the back of your TV and a camera that subtly hangs over your TV at the top, which might seem weird at first, but it doesn't cover your screen at all and you forget it's there in no time.

The VIBES are simply unmatched whenever this backlight is turned on. One of the first things we put on to test it was Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour on Disney Plus, and it really lived up to the promise of immersion, extending out all of the incredible lighting production almost like it was happening in my living room. You connect it to your controller and then pair it with airpods. Because of the size of this dongle, it’s not in the way. I have the Simple Modern one too, and it's great for being at home and drinking water at the perfect temp. *But* if you're worried about leaking AT ALL (or prefer a metal + silicone combo straw to plastic), the Brumate Era is 100% wizardry, sorcery, and magic. It claims to keep ice for over 24 hours — I've had cold water stay COLD for ages in this bottle! The tapered base is also cupholder-friendly, and the whole darn thing is dishwasher safe, too! Let me tell you, this is my new favorite water bottle. I can lock the lid with a quick twist, and throw it LITERALLY SIDEWAYS in any tote and not even think *twice* about it leaking at all! And...if you've seen some of those videos about hidden mold in certain lids...know that this disassembles incredibly easily, so you can just toss the pieces in the dishwasher.
