Being a pet parent is 10% cuddles and 90% wondering how one small creature can create so much chaos.

I've tried cheaper versions of nail grinders before, but they took much longer to trim the nails, and my dog wouldn't stay still long enough. This is exactly what professional groomers use, and it's absolutely worth it!

Promising review: "I bought another brand of nail grinder that didn't do much for my dog's nails. It would have taken me hours to grind all of his nails. With the Dremel, I did all of them in 10–15 minutes. I love the different length guards and different speed settings. I use the second speed, and it grinds the perfect amount off to be able to make sure I don't go too short!" —Sara

Promising review: "My dog's nose should be in the hall of fame (or shame, depending on your pov). Every month was an escalating challenge after one yummy temptation after the other failed to disguise her med. She is a master at olfactory detection, resulting in the chew and spit. Rinse and repeat. But now that I have these Milk Bone pill pockets in my arsenal, it seems that I can successfully get the pill in the pooch, without trauma to either of us! The advice printed on the bag was super helpful....avoid letting the pill touch the exposed outside surface of the pill pouch. I used TWEEZERS to pick up the pill and insert it in the pocket. Squished it shut, and voila'! My darling girl happily chewed up and swallowed thus enticing new treat, none the wiser that she had been hoodwinked into taking her meds. I did a virtual cartwheel to celebrate my success, because I'm 71 and have a keen desire to avoid fractures. I might try a high kick next time. We'll see." —Kay

Promising review: "At first, I was using both a trash can and a busted heater to block the dogs for going in and out of my room. Now with the pet gate, I don't have to worry about that anymore. Also it's more space to go in and out of my room with no problem." —Raymond

Price: $39.99 (available in three colors)

Promising review: "I originally bought one of these for my GSD puppy back in 2016 and loved that it came with a divider to make the kennel smaller to keep him from peeing in a far-off corner. It allowed him to grow with the kennel and has held up fantastically for the last three years. I got another pup and ordered an additional kennel for her. My shepherd is a 95-pound GSD, and Bailly is a 65-pound mix, I would absolutely buy another if I got a third pup and would recommend this crate (and Chewy!)." —Kimber

Price: $25.99+ (originally $35.99+; available in eight sizes)

Promising review: "What sets this apart is the 'tray' the scratcher board sits in. You can sprinkle as much catnip as you want, and it doesn't fall directly through to the floor and make a mess, unlike some other scratchboards I've experienced. I've had the same tray for a while and have replaced the original scratcher board with a refill once my lil' guy tore up both sides, and we recycled it." —Katelyn

Price: $9.99 (available in four patterns)

Promising review: "Great dental report from vet for my 9-year-old dog. Her teeth look very clean. During her last checkup, they discussed dental cleaning due to her plaque and tartar. This made a huge difference." —Pilar

Price: $10.99+ (available in three sizes)

Promising review: "Makes brushing much easier with arthritis, and one of the cats actually prefers these gloves; he now gets head and face massages and just lies down and purrs. Easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean — I just hit it up against a railing outside, and all the fur comes off." —FullHouse

Promising review: "Both of my cats like to pick up their wet food nuggets and drop them several inches away from the bowl before picking them back up and eating them. I tried wider bowls to relieve whisker tension, but they still dragged the moist morsels away like freshly-snagged prey. This mat is large enough that they can’t drag it too far away and get my floors messy. Perfect solution. I don’t put it in the dishwasher, but clean up is still super easy with a soapy paper towel, then quick rinse." —Dani

Price: $14.99+ (available in two sizes and two colors)

This set includes 20 nail covers and glue.

Promising reviews: "I finally decided to try these caps, and they are the best ever! I put them on myself and have only replaced one in two and a half weeks. Plus, the rainbow nails are styling!" —pearlsmommy

Promising review: "I have two cats and two dogs. Hair is everywhere. A friend recommended the chom chom and it was the best pet purchase I have ever made. Works better than a vacuum and is small, so it can be stashed near the furniture without being seen. If you are considering purchasing this item, just do it. See before/after photos." —chey

Price: $24.99+ (originally $31.95; available in two styles)

Promising review: "My dachshund is a total scrounge. Typically, she inhales her dinners and does a few 'coughs/sneezes/chokes' immediately after she finishes eating. I was told to buy her a raised food dish and water bowl — so I did that, but the coughing thing continued! I decided to try this specific, purple, slow feeder for her about two weeks ago. SHE WAS LIVID. The slow feeder forces her to eat slower, and it's like a dog food puzzle; she has to think while she eats, lol, not just mindlessly demolishing her dinners. This was an awesome purchase!! She isn't hacking up a lung after she eats anymore! I bought the blue, swirly version of this feeder for my puppy as well. Now she is a FAST eater, I'm surrounded lol." —Michelle

Price: $7.33+ (originally $8.47+, available in two sizes)

Promising review: "Have had this for years for my two indoor cats. I vacuum, among other things, my bedsheets before washing to cut down on hairballs. I bought one for my son, who has two dogs, and he loves it. Dual filters are washable, making it environmentally friendly. Have not had to replace the inner filter yet; I just keep washing it with mild detergent. Very durable." —Janice

Promising review: "I'm very impressed with these pads. A dog who was staying with me for a few weeks arrived with very matted, crusty eyes. I ordered and received the eye pads, used them 2x daily, and they cleared up! She loved it!" —Angel

My mom's dog got skunked three times last year (of course, always at night when the groomers and stores are closed), and she'd call me desperately asking what to do! I highly recommend buying before you need it!

Promising review: "This has become a staple in our house since our golden has had for skunk encounters this summer. In our experience, it works best the sooner you can get your dog washed! It sometimes takes a couple of washes, but this shampoo works great." —Carolyn

Promising review: "This house has three dogs (one great Dane, and two English bulldogs), so high energy runs wild sometimes, this is great for getting the situation in hand QUICKLY!" —Peggy

Price: $4.97+ (originally $11.99+; available in three sizes and four pack sizes)

Promising review: "This door is great for the colder weather we get here in Michigan! It blocks out the draft, and having the three flaps makes it heavy enough to keep the wind from blowing it open and letting the cold in. This size is a great fit for my taller, large dogs as well as my shorter, medium dog. At first glance, I thought the flaps might be too heavy for my cats to pass through, but they actually have no problems getting in and out. All in all, this is a great product." —Brittany

Price: $97.71+ (originally $124.99; available in two sizes)

Promising review: "Game changer for our sedan to transport our three dogs! I appreciate the durability and the quality of the Velcro where the seatbelt is pulled through. It is well packaged as well with a great carrying case. My only feedback is that the bungee attachment on the included seatbelt feels unsafe in securing my pet in the event of an accident." —Danica

Promising review: "I love, love, love this Snuggle Puppy! It is so cute, but the beating 'heart' and heat packs work great. While not a complete cure for my dog's newly found anxiety, he helped drastically! It has definitely helped keep him calm the majority of our time away from him. I consider this a win! I highly recommend it for a pup with anxiety." —Justine

Price: $39.95+ (originally $49.99+; available in five colors)

Promising review: "I have one dog (Lab mix, 9 years old, 85 pounds) who is generally pretty chill except he is TERRIFIED of thunderstorms and fireworks. Another of my dogs (Lab-AmStaff mix, 6 years old, 65 pounds) gets nervous about storms, and regular rain and fireworks and the frequent artillery fire at the nearby military base and the construction work going on outside my neighborhood. And I have a new dog (AmStaff mix, 1 year, 60 pounds), recently adopted from a shelter and spayed just before she came home. This really seems to help all of them. I do have prescriptions from the vet for all three of them, but I prefer not to drug them unless it's the 4th of July or the weather forecast is for severe storms for several hours or something else extreme. For regular day-to-day use, these are great. For my two dogs (60 and 65 pounds) who get it daily, I give one with breakfast and one in the evening. For my dog, who gets it situationally (85 pounds), I give him two as soon as I know there's a problem, and then will give one more at a time if it's an ongoing thing." —Jennifer

Price: $4.97+ (available in five pack sizes and two flavors)

Promising review: "Cricket loved this self-grooming scratch pad the moment I set it on the floor for her (she immediately started rubbing her face against it). This is a definite win for my cat and so far has held up beautifully and not come apart (like other similar ones) while she is using the self-groomer. This is a big hit with my picky kitty!" —Paige

Promising review: "I think what keeps their interest is that it has three layers with balls. They can keep playing on different levels. One cat often sits and watches as the other plays. They have something similar, but it doesn't stimulate their interest as much as this toy. I am happy because it keeps them active. Normally, they spend most of the day sleeping. This is a game-changer." —Julie

Promising review: "With three dogs running around, this camera is a lifesaver! I can check who’s barking or making a mess even when I’m out. The app is easy to use, the sound is clear, and the motion detection works fast. Definitely a must-have for furparents with many pets." —Astrea

Promising review: "We live in a condominium complex that hires snow plowers to do our parking lots and sidewalks. Unfortunately, they salt everything heavily once the initial plowing is finished. Every dog we've had in the 28 years we've lived here starts out their walks so frisky and happy, and five minutes into it, they're lifting paws and stopping due to the salt, which super-cools the ice, and consequently their poor little paws. One of my friends found this product and used it every winter with her dog, and always said how effective it was. So I thought I would buy a tin and try it. Yup! It's like magic! I work a small amount on each pad and in between her toes, and we're good to go! It's a reasonably priced product, and I highly recommend trying it!" —Mary

Price: $15.99+ (originally $16.99+; available in three sizes)

Promising review: "This just arrived in the mail, and oh my goodness, we are in LOVE! My pup is a mutt, mostly German shepherd, Australian shepherd, and husky... so you can imagine the hair on this one! I started brushing, and I was absolutely AMAZED at the amount that came off, and how easy it was! Seriously, it was so easy, and he loved it so much. It must have felt so good! He has an undercoat, and his fur is super shiny and soft. I was worried that it might pull and tug his hair, or not get all the way to the undercoat, and I was wrong! This doesn't pull or scratch, but it gets the job done! I absolutely recommend it to anyone, even if you don't think your dog sheds. Much easier than all the other brushes I've used. I was not happy about the price tag, but the very first use paid for itself!" —Lauren

Price: $31.87+ (originally $37.49+, available in three sizes and colors)

Promising review: "I originally bought a single bowl version of this and was very happy with it. The only problem was the more dominant cats would eat all of the food every time and the others would get little, if any. I bought this two-bowl feeder to keep downstairs and moved the other one upstairs. I timed the meals to drop at the same time so everyone gets fed. This has been a lifesaver for feeding our cats because three of them simply cannot free feed responsibly. Everyone is now back to a healthy weight and I also don't have to worry when I go on overnight trips. The battery backup works great!" —Meghan

Promising review: "Bought these stairs for both dogs since they struggle to reach our bed. One immediately used them; the other needs more confidence, but we’ll get him there. Holds the weight of our 8-pound and 30-pound dog and doesn’t move in the slightest." —Jodi

Price: $78.99+ (available in four colors)

Promising review: "My cat loved this cactus set. It's larger than her last one. She immediately scratched it instead of the couch. It's very attractive. She likes to rub her head on the soft tops of the cactus. Very happy with this purchase." —Paula

Price: $25.39+ (available in three sizes and two styles)

Promising review: "I live in an apartment complex, and I don't have a detachable shower head. My husky and my shepherd definitely needed one, so I can bathe them at home. This thing is amazing; it just pops on, and no tools are required. It is the best thing I have bought, hands down. My dogs love it too." —Kaiza

Promising review: "I wasn’t sure if this was going to be useful or one of those things that just ends up not being used, but this has been a godsend! We usually wipe their feet with a towel when they come in from the outdoors, but this really cleans without traumatizing my dogs with a hose when they get really muddy. And even when their paws don’t like look too dirty, the color of the water after using this tells me otherwise. So easy to use and doesn’t freak them out. I love this Mudbuster!" —Karleen

Price: $7.70+ (originally $16.99+; available in three sizes and three colors)

Promising review: "I have used this product for years — puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, healthy and ailing, and I would not be without it. Accidents happen, and when they do, this product removes the evidence — no smell, no stain." —Connie

Price: $13.57+ (originally $15.99+, available in two sizes)

Promising review: "I own three of them in different sizes. This is just the most recent. They're air-tight when they're sealed up. They keep mice out. The food stays fresh. The dogs haven't figured out how to open the screw down lid, like they have with some other bins. They're easy to slide around to mop around them. The mouth is nice and wide, making it easy to refill or wipe out when you want to clean inside. Yes, you can find cheaper bins, and I've tried numerous options over the years for dog and cat food. Some things are just worth the money, and this is one of them. You won't regret it." —Jimi
