Actor Alan Ritchson and the neighbor he punched repeatedly in a street brawl will walk away without any charges, according to reports on Monday.

TMZ video of the hulking “Reacher” star appearing to pummel Ronnie Taylor in their Nashville suburb of Brentwood on Sunday went viral.

But authorities determined that Ritchson, who plays an ex-Army cop-turned ass-kicking road vigilante in the Amazon Prime series, was protecting himself.

“After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued,” the Brentwood Police Department said in a statement to the Daily Mail. “Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense. Although a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges. ... No further action will be taken.”

Before word filtered out that he had been exonerated, the “War Machine” performer shared a Napoleon Bonaparte quote on Instagram that read, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

Taylor had cast Ritchson as mostly the aggressor, although he did admit to shoving the actor.

Bodycam footage from Ritchson showed Taylor stepping in front of Ritchson as he rode his motorcycle, seemingly to start the confrontation. Then Ritchson appears to push him. After heated words, Taylor seems to impede or shove the actor as he tries to leave. Ritchson pounds him with punches as Taylor covers himself on the ground. “Are you fucking out of your goddamn mind?” the actor can be heard saying.
