If anyone can figure out how to make them sleep all night and not jump off the couch, I'm all ears! My name is Heather, and at the time I'm writing this, my son is almost 4, and my daughter is almost 2 (so you know I get *it*). So, a lot of these items I've personally tested out (a baby butt spatula, portable high chair, the Friday Baby 3-step cradle cap removal system, a dual cup holder for the stroller, just to name a few.) I can happily tell you *all* about what has worked for my family, but I kindly wanted to note that I'm aware every kid is different! So, what worked for me may not work for you. But hey, it's worth a shot. Right? Anytime my kids have a little itchy bump or redness, we put some of this on to ease their discomfort. However, I primarily use it in place of a diaper cream. I've been lucky that my tykes haven't had much diaper rash, just the occasional redness or irritation from a diaper rubbing against their chunky legs the wrong way. Applying some Aquaphor is a quick and reliable fix! I have a tube in every diaper bag and at each diaper station! I'd also be remiss not to mention that I use Aquaphor on myself, too. After both of my C-sections, this tube was what I reached for (after an appropriate amount of healing) to soothe any itchiness or discomfort on my scar. It also works wonders on chapped lips! Promising review: "I’ve been a fan of Aquaphor since my son was a newborn, and I still use it to this day. It’s truly a must-have in our home — gentle enough for baby skin yet effective for so many things, from dryness to minor cuts. I love how versatile it is and how well it keeps skin soft and protected. After all these years, it’s still my go-to healing ointment!" —KB Mom Reviewers say this spray will leave wavy or curly hair (from 2a–4c hair) shiny, soft, and bouncy. SoCozy is a small business! Promising review: "You need this! My 2-year-old daughter has curly, frizzy hair. And I have tried sooo many leave-in conditioners to tame her hair. Nothing thus far has worked. But this stuff is amazing! Truly defines her curls without any hold or crunch. Soft, bouncy curls. The smell is quite strong, but it does smell good. If you are sensitive to smells, you might want to prepare yourself ahead of time for this. I will buy this again and again. So glad I found something that works for my toddler's curls." —mike In addition to being dishwasher-, freezer-, and boil-safe, these tops are BPA-, PVC-, lead-, and phthalate-free. Promising review: "My now 2-year-old has never, ever eaten more than a few sips out of these pouches, of any kind. I got this spill-proof lid to put on it... she's on her second one in a matter of minutes. I think the problem was she didn't like getting messy or having me constantly pull it away. This gave her so much more control, and it prevents them from being squeezed all over. Wish I discovered it a year and a half ago!" —Amazonian Get a set of two from Amazon for $8.98+ (available in five color options). I cannot even begin to tell you just how many toddler cups I've tried out for my son before settling on these. They really don't leak, he can't open/close it for fun like he does with flip-top cups, and he has no issue using the straw (I think because it's thicker than most!). I personally like that they come in a bunch of fun styles. My favorite feature, however, is that I can toss it into the dishwasher for easy cleaning! Promising review: "They don't leak or volcano everywhere! It's taken so long and so many different straw cups, but we finally found ones that don't make a huge mess, even when our son is trying to make a mess!" —A. Smith Get a set of two from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in 20 styles) This lil' seat can be used with tables up to 3.3" thick. It's collapsible, washable, and has a storage pocket! When my son was a baby, we actually attached it to my husband's desk (we both work from home) so he had somewhere to play where we could easily keep an eye on him. Promising review: "LOVE LOVE LOVE this chair. My baby is 7 months old, and this is a household favorite. It is perfect for restaurants and traveling. This seat goes everywhere with us. It is sturdy, high quality, easy to set up and take down, and folds down small for transport. We paid the extra money for the plastic tray, which has been super handy for restaurants. Baby always has a clean place to eat, and when we are done, we just wipe the tray down and fold everything back into its bag. If you aren’t sure this is worth the money, it absolutely is!" —Halea Secor Get it from Amazon for $79.99+ (available in 11 colors). Read more about cradle cap — aka seborrheic dermatitis — at Seattle Children’s and the American Academy of Dermatology. My daughter had WAAAAY more cradle cap than my son did as an infant, so I was prepared to really tackle it head on (pun intended). This system was SO useful and made removing the cradle cap so simple. I paired it with a gentle shampoo, rubbed it in with the sponge side, scrubbed it good (but gently) with the scrubbier brush, rinsed it out and repeated 3x. At the end I combed all of the particles out of her hair. It made such a difference! Promising review: "My baby is 2 months old and has been suffering from cradle cap. I didn’t want to pick it out. So i ordered this product. When i tell you it took EVERYTHING out and DIDN’T take out his hair! I’m VERY APPRECIATIVE!" —Ahonesty Parents are absolutely going to want this in their arsenal of cleaning products. Truth be told, babies stain EVERYTHING. Whether they're spitting up all the time on their clothes (and blankets, and your shirt, and their sheets, the list goes on) or learning to chow down on pureed carrots (an orange explosion), you won't regret buying this. Promising review: "My 1-year-old has taco meat stains ALL over the sleeves of his shirt. The stains were 2–3 days old, too. I sprayed the shirt, let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then washed the shirt with regular laundry soap. Almost every bit of the stains came out. Definitely buying bulk in this product!" —Sloan Avery Get it from Amazon for $7.59+ (available in a variety of quantities) The Baby Shusher is safe to use in a crib, has adjustable volume, and it can be set to make noise for 15- or 30-minute intervals. Additionally, it comes from a small business. Promising review: "I was so tired of 'shushing.' Literally, I shushed so hard and for so long, it made me light-headed. My baby has serious FOMO and fights naps like the plague. This helps so much! Even during the worst fits, this helps calm her, and she's out in minutes. Great for the car too!" —Jami Promising review: "I bought one for my child's door to keep little shoes, diapers, wipes, medicines, cloths, etc. in...then bought another one for my other child to keep more shoes, necklaces, little toys, cassette tapes, etc. This is a perfect way to keep things up and out of the way! And it works great for diapers and little shoes!!! The pockets are not large enough to hold some pairs of my preschooler's tennis shoes. They are one shoe per pocket. But otherwise, they are quite big. About five size-4 diapers fit per pocket to give you some idea. :)" —T L Get it from Amazon for $9.97+ (available in two sizes and eight colors). Promising review: "These are amazing. They have helped so much with the toy clutter. I have one in each child's room and one in our loft/living space. The kids can easily clean up and the toys end up in the right location. I love this!" —DeborahB Get it from Amazon for $47.64+ (available in 13 styles). Promising review: "I have twin boys with a large collection of stuffed animals. My initial concern was that they would not be large enough, but they are plenty big. We really like the fact that the outer edge material is stretchy and pretty durable. We stretched it as far as possible to keep the animals from sagging too low to the beds. It works great, and we loaded them up with no issues. The fact that you get two for the price that others were selling for one is a great deal. I can fully recommend this product." —Levi Dunn Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in two sizes and 13 colors). One of my mom besties had this on her stroller and I immediately was like, "Welp, NEED." I ordered one and never looked back — it attaches tightly and can be adjusted to any angle. In a desperate attempt to keep both my baby and my toddler content, I spent the majority of my maternity leave on walks around my neighborhood — it was ESSENTIAL to have a solid spot to put my drink and also my phone (we needed music, of course). This one was so great I ordered a second one for our other stroller. Promising review: "I ordered this with low hopes because I feel like stroller cup holders are always so flimsy. I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this cup holder! You can attach it to any bar, no matter the direction it goes, as it is adjustable. It was easy to attach. It holds my large 42-oz cup with no problem. I do have to remove my wallet from my phone to put in the phone compartment. I'll be ordering another for our leisure stroller!" —Jeanette Rojas Get it from Amazon for $9.98 (available in 26 colors). Promising review: "EXCELLENT travel bottle warmer!!!! We love this warmer and use it almost every single time we leave the house!!! The water stays hot for hours!! The longest we have done is about 6–8 hours, and each time, it is still piping hot and steaming when I pour it, and it heats my daughter's bottle up easily in just a few minutes! Seriously, 5 stars!"—ELMA16 This gadget doesn't attach to the car seat, so no need to fret about kiddos unbuckling themselves while you're driving. UnbuckleMe is a small business! Promising review: "This is definitely perfect for the girlies with the long nails and I’m one of them. Life has never been so simple since I purchased this. I’m not fighting to get my baby out the car seat anymore." —Shakyra Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in seven colors). Promising reviews: "This is the perfect solution for gently cleaning ears from infants on up to adults. I started using this 8 years ago on my daughter, who was a toddler. I did NOT want to stick a Q-tip in her ear. Just a few drops in the ear; lie on your side to keep the liquid in for a few minutes; place a tissue under the ear when rolling onto the other side; and repeat the process. Please note: If there is too much wax in the ear and you put in too many drops, you may experience discomfort. This product will hydrate the wax, making it expand slightly. If you have concerns, just do two drops per ear and wait 3-4 days and repeat. Do not use more than twice a week. I use this on myself and my daughter once a month, works wonderfully. I highly recommend Debrox over any off-brand." —H Norman "Worked great for my toddler. Her pediatrician recommended it because he said her ears were impacted. Used it for three days while watching videos, and the wax came out a few days later. Note: I did not irrigate her ears after use because I did not feel comfortable forcing water into her tiny ear canal. The wax worked itself out without being irrigated." —Luann I ordered this for my son after encouraging him to pee in an empty coffee cup behind our car (don't judge me). We use it CONSTANTLY. Genuinely, almost anytime we leave the house, despite going potty right before we leave, he will ask to use this during an outing. It's easy to dump out/clean and does exactly what it should. Can't ask for anything more than that! Promising review: "I purchased this for my son and our long car trips. How many times can we pull over to potty on a three-and-a-half-hour car trip? Ask my 4-year-old. When I saw this, I couldn't resist. We brought it along, and when he had to pee, no problem. It's only a little gross when you dump it later. Well designed, definitely recommend." —Evan Get it from Amazon for $9.95+ (available in three colors). The very popular manual nasal aspirator was simply not for me, but an automatic one was definitely something my stomach could handle. It's seamless to use and clean, and gets the job done! Just remember to remove the suction chamber before cleaning it, because I definitely had to buy another after accidentally destroying mine... oops. Ya live, and ya learn! Promising review: "Works wonders! Highly recommended! My baby was sick with a runny nose and hated the other manual suction methods. He’ll freak out before I'm able to use it. This one was quick, clean, and extremely easy to use! It cleared his stuffy nose without irritating his nose or traumatizing him." —Sonia Ramirez Get it from Amazon for $33.99 (available in six colors). I use this little tool to remove boogers from my kids' noses (which they absolutely hate). It's not an easy task because babies are VERY squirmy, but the Oogiebear definitely helps make the process go a bit more seamlessly. Absolutely recommend. Promising review: "I mean, does my child love it? No. But does it take less than a second to use and get the boogers I'd expect Shrek to possess and not my 3-month-old baby? Yes, it does! He's happy as soon as it leaves his nostrils, which again only takes a second. And it's easy to clean!" —Kaitlyn Spires Promising reviews: "Helped get baby poo and sunscreen off the interior." —E.P. "I have kids (8 and 3 years old). They have destroyed my back seat. Spilled chocolate milk, vomit, melted chocolate, dropped fries, dropped ice cream, spilled Gatorade — you name it, it has been spilled in my back seat. I was to the point of accepting my backseat would forever be a disgusting wasteland. Then I stumbled upon this product and y'all...Y'ALL IT WORKS! I almost cried when I sprayed it on, ran a detail brush over it, wiped it away with the cloth, and the stains were GONE. No scrubbing for 30 minutes. No 'leave to set for 15 minutes.' No carpet cleaner required. Just spray, scrub, and wipe, and it takes everything off. I am now cleaning EVERYTHING with this stuff. It is AMAZING! An absolute MUST for any parent. 100% will buy again." —Rachel After hearing what incredible things The Pink Stuff can do, I finally ordered it and tried it for myself. Honestly, wow! It really does work wonders. I tried it first on my Le Creuset cast iron pan and was really amazed at how just one pass with The Pink Stuff (and a scouring brush) took off almost every stain! My toddler colored our play table blue with a crayon, and The Pink Stuff took it off INSTANTLY — it was incredible to watch! Promising review: "A must-have for toddler moms! My 3-year-old recently decided to channel his inner Van Gogh on our stairwell wall, and red crayon was EVERYWHERE. I tried every possible cleaning solution, and nothing was getting it off. I heard about the Pink Stuff on TikTok and decided it was worth a shot. This stuff is a miracle worker! With a sponge and some elbow grease, I was able to remove all the crayon within 10 minutes. There’s absolutely no trace of the crayon left, and it didn’t ruin my paint!" —Casey Blaine "If you have toddlers, this is a MUST! This stuff is amazing. It gets out crayon, ink, permanent marker, literally whatever way your toddler decides to unknowingly destroy your home — this stuff cleans it up. Will be giving this to all expectant parents as a gift from now on. Forget that cute onesie. They need this. 10/10" —Diana Promising review: "I saw this product on TikTok and had to get it. I’m super glad I did. My daughter and I always get a ton of mosquito bites, and this helps alleviate the itching as soon as you pull the suction back. It’s great." —Rebekka Talley Get it from Amazon for $9.95+ (available in six colors and in packs of two or three). Promising review: "I bought this product for my minivan and the messy little humans who ride in it. It does an EXCELLENT job cleaning up after them. This product can get into the little crevices and tiny places, and it comes with a brush that I used to be able to round up all the hair and random things that a normal vacuum would leave behind. It's easy to empty, easy to clean, and it does a great job." —Jillian Barr Promising review: "Love, love LOVE! These space-saver bags are amazing! I was able to fit so many clothes, blankets, and even my kid's old stuffed animals into them, and they all compressed perfectly. I used my vacuum to seal them, which made the process super easy. One thing to note is that some of the smaller bags don’t have a vacuum hole, but honestly, you don’t need it. You can just roll the air out and seal the bags, which works just as well. There were plenty of bags in different sizes, and I’ll definitely be buying more soon. Highly recommend if you need to save space!" —Perlyn This plant-based cleaner will remove streaks, smudges, and fingerprints from all stainless steel surfaces — sounds very therapeutic to me! Additionally, Therapy Clean is a small business! Promising review: "This is by far the best stainless steel cleaner I have ever used. So easy to apply and I wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth. It lasts months and I have twin toddlers that are always touching my appliances. No finger prints at all. I highly recommend. Completely safe , no chemicals. Great product." —martha Promising review: "These Zeiss wipes are the real deal — they're not dry, and they do an amazing job cleaning glasses, phone screens, and anything else that attracts fingerprints. No streaks, no smudges, just clear vision every time. I’ve got these stashed all over the house because I have reading glasses in almost every room (I swear they multiply on their own). With 400 in the box, this stash should last me a while—unless my glasses decide to start attracting grease and fingerprints at record speed. If you wear glasses, own a phone, or just like things to be clean and smudge-free, these are a must-have! 🕶📱✨" —Chi Guy Learn more about different kinds of eye drops and what they can do at Cleveland Clinic. And according to Mayo Clinic, you should avoid redness-reducing drops if you're looking for dry eye relief. Promising review: "I have a big spot of blood vessels in the inner corner of my left eye. I use the expensive lubricant eye drops for moisture — I've used Visine, Clear Eyes, you name it. No eye drop has made my eyes look this great. Only Lumify! I was soo happy when I looked in the mirror and saw some beauty in my eyes instead of darkness and redness." —Angela Leonard * Parenting Products So Good, You’ll Make It Your Personal Mission To Tell All Other Parents About Them * If The Kids Are Super Quiet, They're Probably Playing With One Of These 39 Toys * Things That’ll Make Sharing A Bathroom With The Whole Family A Lot Easier * Parenting Products Under $25 That You’ll Honestly Wish You Bought Sooner * Products For First-Time Parents That’ll Make The Whole Thing 1% Less Scary * Toddlers Are Kinda Gross, Here Are 21 Problem-Solving Products To Help With *That* * Gifts That Are Both Kid *And* Parent-Approved * Products Parents Swear By For Keeping Their Homes (Mostly) Clean And Organized * Things Under $10 The Easter Bunny Might Want To Consider Putting In Your Kid’s Basket Plus, kids' mattresses, baby shower gifts, storage and organization solutions, travel must-haves, quiet toys, toddler tricycles, and finds from Walmart.
