An Allendale restaurant announced it will close later this month after four years of serving the community. Uno Más said in a message to customers that its final day of service will be Saturday, April 18. “With full hearts, we are sharing the news that we have sold Uno Más,” owners Dan and Joe Grey said in a statement. “These past four years of serving this wonderful community have been nothing short of incredible, and we cannot express enough how forever grateful we are for all of your support.” The restaurant, described as a contemporary Mexican concept, opened in Allendale with a focus on blending traditional and modern flavors. Its menu featured tacos and other dishes inspired by classic Mexican cuisine, along with house-made nonalcoholic drinks. The establishment operated as a BYOB venue and aimed to offer what it called an “elevated taqueria” experience in a casual setting. Owners said the closure does not mark the end of their presence in the area. They encouraged customers to continue visiting their sister restaurants, Allendale Social and Charlie’s Place. The restaurant invited patrons to visit before its final day to say goodbye. The sale of the business and details about future plans for the space were not immediately disclosed.
