Multiple cars catch fire at auto recycling business in Chula Vista

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) โ An auto recycling business caught fire late Sunday night in Chula Vista, leading to multiple cars being damaged. Fire crews from Chula Vista, National City and San Diego fire departments responded to the second-alarm fire around 11:30 p.m. at 781 Energy Way. When they arrived to the scene, they found multiple cars and an outbuilding on fire. According to Chula Vista Fire Capt. Chris Kastelic, the one outbuilding and a total of six cars were damaged or destroyed. Firefighters were able to knock down the fire about an hour later.
