CNN pundit Adam Mockler confronted Geraldo Rivera directly on Piers Morgan’s show Monday night to ask why the veteran newsman had called him a dick.

Mockler went viral last week after fellow “CNN NewsNight” panelist and designated conservative Scott Jennings flipped out when Mockler lifted his hand while making a point about the Iran war.

“Get your fucking hand out of my face,” Jennings snapped, avoiding Mockler’s question about what political concessions, if any, President Donald Trump has gotten from the Iranian government since the war started.

Rivera, who was also on the CNN panel, defended Jennings the next day on NewsNation and had harsh words for Mockler, 23, whom he praised as “smart and eloquent” but also called a “kid.”

“Chris, the kid was a dick ... he was really being a dick. Shut up. You know, go out and get some life experience,” he said.

Mockler got his chance to challenge Rivera about that particular insult on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” Monday night.

“Well, Adam, what do you want to say to Geraldo? He called you a dick. Do you have a response?” Morgan asked.

Mockler did.

“Yeah, it’s not [being] a dick to try to force a critical question and try to force the conversation to where the American people want it,” he said. “Geraldo, you were there when Scott made fun of my bedtime five minutes earlier.”

Mockler then noted that Jennings doesn’t seem to be “bound by any rules whatsoever on this show. He’s able to lie over and over,” and then wondered why he was the one whose decorum was being scrutinized.

“Do you see what I’m saying? It’s not the ’80s anymore. It’s not even 2010 anymore. We are in a new era where we are playing in a reciprocal manner,” Mockler said. “So I’m not playing the games where I have to be nice.”

Mockler then attacked Rivera’s dig that he “needed life experience” by noting that he and the 82-year-old newsman are doing the same work, despite their age difference.

“You have a whole life of experience, and you’re on the same panels as me,” Mockler pointed out. “We’re on the same shows ... So, life experience — what has it gotten you? I don’t know.”

“All right, Geraldo, your life experience has got you nowhere, says the young dick!” Morgan laughed.

Rivera retorted that he has won 10 Emmys in a 56-year career, to which Mockler clapped back, “And now you’re on the same panels as everyone else.”

Rivera then tried to offer Mockler some advice, saying, “Adam, listen, don’t be a wise-ass, OK?” before admitting that, yes, the young panelist had made some good points during his viral segment with Jennings.

“The problem is that you can be very obnoxious in your presentation,” Rivera lectured, before admitting that “sometimes, being obnoxious can lead to a whole career.”

Mockler pushed back, calling Rivera’s complaint about his presentation “so indicative of the double standards that we see all throughout the media.”
