Lara Trump is keeping mum about her long-term political goals ― at least for now.

President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law made a joint appearance with her husband, Eric Trump, on Thursday’s episode of the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast, where they each weighed in on whether they might try to succeed the president.

After Eric Trump noted he “would never rule anything out,” Hannity turned his attention to Lara Trump, who noted: “They’re big shoes to fill now, Sean. There has never been a president [like] Donald Trump. There will never be another one like President Donald Trump.”

When Hannity pointed out that she could be “the first woman president,” Lara Trump said she “wouldn’t rule it out for anyone in the family.”

“We’ve seen the absolute nastiest and as bad as it can get, but you know what they did to all of us over that period of time is, if you continue to rub your hands, you’ll get a callus,” she said. “If you continue to beat somebody enough, you develop a thick skin — and we have all developed such thick skin that I almost don’t think there’s anything they can throw at any of our way — anybody in our whole family — that we wouldn’t be ready for or able to handle at this point.”

She went on to note, “Despite knowing absolutely nothing about politics when this whole thing started, we got a quick lesson, and I would say that we’ve been so proud to stand by this one man’s side while he really transforms ... the entire world.”

Eric and Lara Trump were both in China this week, where the president met with Chinese President Xi Jinping for a two-day summit to discuss trade and the U.S.’s war with Iran.

The former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, Lara Trump has taken on an increasingly public role in her father-in-law’s second term. She has hinted at an interest in entering the political sphere.

In addition to serving as the host of “My View with Lara Trump” on Fox News and the “Right View with Lara Trump” podcast, Lara Trump is an aspiring musician who has released a handful of singles on streaming platforms.

Her most-streamed track on Spotify is her infamous cover of the 1989 smash “I Won’t Back Down,” originally performed by late rock musician Tom Petty.
