I recently upgraded myself to a pair of these Birks (though I *also* picked up a new pair of my beloved Eva Birkenstocks that are ultra-lightweight for running around in the yard with my kids). I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the sturdier soles, but so far, I love them! I like that I can wear them with dresses, leggings, or jeans (what else is there to wear, anyways?), and really adore the ballerina-pink color with the gold buckles. As a mom, I need practical shoe options, but like that these are *also* pretty!

I've been living in these shoes for YEARS. I have them in black and they are one of my tried-and-true favorites. They're just the perfect basic sandal! They look great with dresses, jeans, and leggings, which is pretty much all I ask for in a summer shoe. Check the image (left) above to see me wearing them with both a dress and jeans. Since they are open-backed, there is no chance of uncomfortable rubbing. I just love 'em.
