I filled carts on four different sites while writing about these parent-friendly Memorial Day Sales...oops.

Promising review: "After Christmas, we quickly realized we needed far more AA batteries than we expected for new toys, controllers, and household devices. These Duracell Optimum batteries were exactly what we needed, and the next-day shipping was a huge help. Performance has been excellent so far. They deliver strong, consistent power and last noticeably longer than standard batteries, especially in higher-drain items. The resealable packaging also keeps everything organized instead of cluttering a drawer. Reliable performance, fast delivery, and fewer battery swaps make these well worth it. I would buy these again without hesitation." —Patrick-Hartami

Both bundles include: the Nanit Pro Baby Monitor and a free trial of the app, and a choice between the floor or wall stand.

I switched to the Nanit monitoring system when my daughter was born in 2024 because the app has an incredible split-screen option that lets me watch both kiddos at once — it's been a game changer. It's super easy to set up, and once you've done so, there's nothing more to do but the occasional software update. The app itself is simple: it shows you a view of your kiddo's crib and notes how long they've been asleep, whether they're crying, or whether they're standing. The audio and picture are so clear (including the night mode), and the camera itself is unobtrusive to my kids' rooms' decor. I also love that even if I'm out (rarely), I can check in on my sleeping babies for some peace of mind.

Promising review: "Hands-down, the best baby camera I have used. I have ordered this twice for both my sons. I love how it has a light built-in and a sound machine, and it also tells you the degrees in their room. It looks aesthetically pleasing, and the app is also really easy to use. The yearly membership is pretty expensive, but I only purchased it for the first year and didn’t need it after, so it’s not completely necessary unless you want it. It’s just a great overall camera. I highly recommend it to all new parents." —Jessica Thomas

Promising review: "I used the willow go for my first child, and when I had my second, I was worried I would constantly be bending forward helping both children, and my milk would spill out of the top container. These new containers with the cover are a game changer. They never leak and I can complete many tasks while using these!" —Tifani

Reviewers say this spray will leave wavy or curly hair (from 2a–4c hair) shiny, soft, and bouncy. SoCozy is a small business!

Promising review: "You need this! My 2-year-old daughter has curly, frizzy hair. And I have tried sooo many leave-in conditioners to tame her hair. Nothing thus far has worked. But this stuff is amazing! Truly defines her curls without any hold or crunch. Soft, bouncy curls. The smell is quite strong, but it's pleasant. If you are sensitive to smells, you might want to prepare in advance. I will buy this again and again. So glad I found something that works for my toddler's curls." —mike

I bought these for my son last year and, while there is most definitely a mess to clean up after, we had SO much fun! These balloons are also self-sealing, so you won't have to struggle to tie a bunch of wet balloons shut while under the pressure of kids demanding "MORE, MORE, MORE!" That alone is a win in my book!

Promising review: "Had these for my son's 6th summer birthday. The kids couldn't get enough of them, and they quickly filled. Had a few casualties, but that was expected. Would absolutely get them again!" —PKF

Promising review: "I wasn’t expecting a huge difference, but the Fire TV Stick 4K really impressed me. Setup took about 5 minutes, and everything just worked. Menus feel faster, apps open almost instantly, and streaming is smooth even during peak hours. The 4K picture quality is sharp, and the voice search is surprisingly helpful—I can just say 'action movies with car chases,' and it actually finds good options. The remote is simple, Alexa works well, and having all the apps in one place makes everything convenient. For the price, this feels like a real upgrade—easy to use, fast, and reliable." —Alan M

When I finally caved and got one of these in the 40-ounce size, I wondered why I waited so long! Yes, it's ridiculously large, but I only have to fill it up once before bed, and my water lasts me all day! It also stays cold and, honestly, just looks super cute on my desk. And, yes, kids (aged 4 and 2) both would much rather drink out of it instead of their age-appropriate cups and typically whine until I let them drink out of mine 🫠.

Promising review: "I was a Stanley skeptic. I couldn’t understand what the big deal was or why the internet was freaking out. I saw the video of the Stanley cup surviving the car fire (and I think the ice was still inside). So I tried it. I drink SO much more water now! I love decorating my Stanley with all the fun accessories and it holds a nice amount of water. It feels durable and of good quality. I’ve had my Stanley for a year now, and I’m even considering getting another so I can have one while the other is being washed. They are easy to clean as well because of the metal inside. I put ice in before I go to sleep it’s still cold in the morning. I love these cups and would recommend them to anyone looking to drink more water." —Carolyn

My kids have and love this train set! I didn't want to commit to a wooden train set that would take over our entire playroom, and this has been a great alternative. We've had it for over two years, and it's held up great. I love that when we're done playing with it, all of the pieces can be tossed right into the case and folded up neatly until the next time we want to break it out. You simply can't go wrong with Melissa & Doug!

Promising review: "My son is special needs and adores trains. We thought he would enjoy this great little track that he can carry around. He does. It is well-made and nice-looking. Pretty sturdy and for all ages. He is 9, but I feel like he'll use it for many years. Compatible with quite a few of his trains, including some from this brand. Worth the price." —Stephanie R.

My 4-year-old is such a fan of Skillmatics' crafts and activities. I've been buying them for all the kids in our lives — they're such a hit!

Promising review: "My eight-year-old daughter really enjoyed this crafting activity. I think this craft is perfect for kids ages 4-12. It kept her busy for about 2 hours, and she did it over several days. It is great for fine motor skills and mess-free! All of the supplies are included and of good quality. The colors were vibrant and fun." —Kindle Customer

Promising review: "Our 2-year-old LOVES this doodle board. I like how we can take the legs off and use it on the go for a travel board or with the legs for use at home. My baby loves how there are different colors in each corner of the board. It is very easy to erase; he can do it himself. It is lightweight, so I don’t have to worry about him moving it around on his own. Perfect for toddlers or your little artist. Very happy with the product!" —T. Wiseman

When I added this to my registry, my sister (who then promptly bought me this stroller) made fun of me, asking, "When will you ever go for a jog with your kid?" However, that's not why I wanted this stroller! We live in a very hilly area and also often go to grassy, muddy, and sandy parks, so I knew we'd need a stroller that could handle all that terrain. The wheels are LARGE and in charge — you won't have an issue getting over any bumps in this bad boy. It's so easy to maneuver. It can recline the seat for your little one, so they can sit in it pretty early in life. It also has a cute peek-a-boo window at the top (when you pull the shade all the way down) that both of my kids loved.

Promising review: "10/10 jogging stroller. Rolls more smoothly than I ever would have imagined and turns on a dime. This has been worth every penny and I would buy it again in a heartbeat." —Mike B.
