Sen. Mark Kelly makes no secret about his 15-year career as an astronaut for NASA, but he apparently has a surprise hiding in his spacesuit.

The Arizona Democrat keeps the suit he wore on the space shuttle in his office ― with one addition that is truly bananas.

The 62-year-old Kelly worked for NASA between 1996 and 2011, traveling to the International Space Station four times.

Barry Bonzack, whose X account says he works on the NASA Orion as part of the Artemis project, recently discovered what Kelly has been hiding in plain sight.

While Bonzack has spilled the beans in the video below, please be warned: What you see can’t be unseen.

The moment of levity comes just days after Kelly told comedian Hasan Minhaj about the concerning messages he received from several world leaders at the Munich Security Conference earlier this year.

“They kind of hate us right now. They’re not happy,” Kelly said.
