Vanessa Trump, a model and the ex-wife of President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., posted a message on Instagram on Wednesday about her health.

“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

Trump said she’s “staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” then asked for privacy while she focuses on her recovery.

Family members – including her former sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump, and daughter Kai Trump – offered messages of support in the comments.

“Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you, mama,” Ivanka Trump wrote.

“Love you! Strongest person ever,” Kai Trump wrote.

Despite Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. divorcing in 2018 after 13 years of marriage, she has appeared at several political and public events with the couple’s five children in recent years. She is currently in a relationship with professional golfer Tiger Woods.
