(NewsNation) — Former U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, a Democrat, is projected to square off with Republican Gregg Hull in the November election for New Mexico governor, Decision Desk HQ projects. They will compete to replace outgoing New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, who is term-limited. Haaland, a former Biden administration cabinet member, took on Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman in the Democratic primary.
