I have four of these. Is that excessive? Maybe. But my cats seriously love them so much; they not only play in them, but sleep in them, too. They also fold down to the size of a dinner plate, so they're super easy to travel with if you're taking them on vacation or dropping them off at a cat sitter.

My cats go WILD for these. So much so that I now give it to them like once a month because they will hunger strike for them if they know they're in the house. So far, we've tried the sockeye salmon, shrimp in chicken broth, and chicken and butternut squash, which is — surprisingly — their favorite.

Both of my cats took to this as soon as I got it. They store their toys in there, nap in there, and make a wholeeee lot of biscuits. They have a few beds that they use, but this one seems to be their favorite, and I think the high walls are definitely why. Sometimes they use the sides as a pillow and other times they bury their heads into the interior and curl up in a little ball. My only complaint is that they don't sell one in my size. 😞

It took a few days for my cats to warm up to this, but once they did, they were enamored. Whenever I can't find them, chances are they're in here. They like to use it as a space to spy on me, because they seemingly think they can see me, but I can't see them? Man, they're so weird, but I love 'em. Also, I gotta say that I loveee that there is zero assembly required — you just pop it out of a box. The sphere is also pretty rigid, so it stands up well to scratching, rubbing, and general rough play.
