Tbh they already own half the list... but still. I'm a seasoned Shopping Editor with more than 10 years of experience covering travel (my favorite), home decor, fashion, and pet products. Since our feline friends spend their entire lives indoors and rely on us for all their entertainment, comfort, and enrichment, it's only fair we spoil them a little. From multi-level condos and zoomie-approved tunnels to window hammocks and electronic fish toys that'll keep them busy for hours, here are 32 fun products your cat would absolutely add to cart if only they had opposable thumbs. Promising review: "Now I bought this out of the fact that my cat likes to rub her face on EVERYTHING, so I thought she would like this, and she absolutely LOVES THIS. Usually, you think cheap cat things like this wouldn't work, and I thought the same, then my cat rubbed her face on it, and it was like holy cow, this actually works, like my cat actually likes this. A whole new experience tbh." —Raychelle Schar Promising review: "My cat started playing with the mat before I even got it entirely unboxed! She loves tunneling over and under the top mat and hiding her favorite toys. I readjust the top rug every couple of days, so it is like a brand new adventure. Easy to clean and move out of the way if needed. Total hit in our household." —Connie The Cat Ladies is a family-owned, Southern California-based small business founded in 2015 by a mother-daughter duo who wanted to create unique, organic, nontoxic products for other passionate cat owners. Promising review: "I have been a customer for about a year now, and ever since the first time when we gave her gentle pets while she ate the grass, she’s now developed a whole daily routine! She meows at us every morning, demanding that we come and sit with her and pet her while she munches happily on the grass. It’s become such an important part of her daily routine that we bought two of the planters so that she can always have fresh grass." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $27.99 (available in four colors). Promising reviews: "My cat absolutely loves it. It is easy to set up and supports my cat's weight. I would definitely recommend this item for those who want to enrich their cat's life with limited space to do so." —Amazon Customer I have four of these. Is that excessive? Maybe. But my cats seriously love them so much; they not only play in them, but sleep in them, too. They also fold down to the size of a dinner plate, so they're super easy to travel with if you're taking them on vacation or dropping them off at a cat sitter. Promising review: "My cats absolutely love this tunnel! It provides hours of play and a place to hide and sleep. It is very well made and stands up to rough play and their claws. It is easy to fold up and put away if needed or to pack for travel. Will be purchasing more in the future to connect together to create a tunnel system since they love cat tunnels so much." —Lisa N. Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in 14 colors/sizes). The feed tray slides out, making it easy to refill and clean, and there's a divider so you can use two different types of feed at once to attract different varieties of birds! Some reviewers even decorated their birdhouses with little frills like moss, flowers, and twine, so you can give it as much flair as you like! Note: If you find that your pets are scaring the birds away, one reviewer recommends applying reflective adhesive so the birds can't see in, but your fur babes can see the full show. Promising review: "This feeder sticks really well on the window. It even holds the plump squirrels who sneak into it. 😅 It was super easy to apply and adjust. Our cats absolutely love the close-up action they get since we purchased reflective adhesive and put it on the inside of our window. Now the birds have no idea they’re even there, and the cats are in disbelief that they get to sit that close to the birds. Overall, a great purchase, my family loves it!" —SRowe Both of my cats love this, but one, in particular, just can't get enough of this thing — especially in the middle of the night. More than once, I've woken up to her *punching* it and sliding it across the living room floor. She also loves to flip it over so it stands on the smallest tier and idk why, but sure?? Promising review: "Wow, my cats have been playing with this since I took it out of the box. Over an hour now! My husband was even able to cook breakfast without having to yell at cats to get off the counter. I'm so thrilled. I was looking for something to keep my cats occupied on their own. I hope they continue to like this beyond today. My fearless guy took to it right away. My shy girl was a little slower, but once she started, she hasn't stopped. At one point, they were both batting the balls like a ping pong match! Very happy with my purchase!" —Travel Girl Get it from Amazon for $10.99+ (available in three styles). You can also fill it with their blankets, beds, and toys to really make it fun and cozy while they take in the fresh air. It comes with an attachable tunnel, as pictured on the right above. Promising review: "For you urbanites, this cat tent will bring years of great mirth and joy to your beloved feline friend! This cat tent allows me to safely stimulate the psyche and spirit of my little family member. Birds have even landed on the tent and rabbits have grazed around it, and they are safe from her as well. A vet even walked past and commented, 'I wish everyone did this for their cat!'" —Yvonne DeMarino Get it from Amazon for $53.79 (also available in a "tower" style, and the tent and tunnel are available individually). This is inexplicably my cat Clementine's favorite thing in the whole wide world. Whenever I think of Linus from the Peanuts, I think of his blanket, and whenever I think of Clemmy, I think of her string on a stick. Promising review: "My husband says, 'It’s just a strip of cloth on a stick!' Yet our two boys know the cloth has just the right pattern, strength, and floatiness to make it fascinating to cat brains! When the strip is shaken rapidly in midair over their heads, the pattern appears to strobe and they go wacky! Good jumping exercise!" —dc99 Get it from Chewy for $5.99 (available in two colors). Promising review: "My cats love to carry things like this around the house. When these came, I opened the package and threw them all out simultaneously. I thought my kitties' eyes were going to pop out of their heads when they saw the cloud of pom-poms falling on them. Super fun." —Kindle Customer Get it from Amazon for $6.99+ (you can also buy extra pom-pom balls separately). It comes with two feather teaser sticks and six colorful felt balls. Promising review: "This is a perfect gift for cats who already have everything their hearts desire, but it’s still not enough. It is so cute, doesn’t take up a ton of space, is easy to assemble, and sturdy. The pool cue wand toys are genius. In general, my cats will bat the balls under the furniture and then sleep on the pool table. Human and cat approved!" —Laura Promising review: "I've spent a crap ton on toys for my picky cat, only for him to ignore them. My co-worker gave me one of these unassuming bananas and it's like crack for cats! He can't get enough! I got three for backup. They are super durable (I don't clip his claws) and the right size to hold and kick. Smoosh and twist to activate the catnip and he's ready to play. This is a staple in his toy box now." —Lan Get a pack of three from Amazon for $19.23. Promising reviews: "I am obsessed with how cute this looks. Our cats are always tanning on the balcony and now they have a place to lie. They took to it right away. It was really easy to put together and the quality of the wood and materials seems great." —jalysza "I LOVE the design of this lounger. It's perfectly beachy for my beach home. It was easy to assemble, and it is durable and has held up nicely over time. I like that the scatcher part is made out of rope instead of cardboard." —Emily Get it from Amazon for $39.99+ (available in three colors). The 9 x 9-inch mats come from 3 Kitties and 2 Humans, a Willowick, Ohio-based shop with all sorts of cat goodies. Promising review: "My cat LOVESSS this genius product (: She’s an odd one and doesn’t play much, catnip or not, but she does snooze around pretty much all the time so this is perfect! She won’t give it up! Shipped super fast, super soft fabric, great quality! I definitely recommend! (:" —BreAhnna Stephens Get it from 3 Kitties and 2 Humans on Etsy for $8 (available in 15 colors/prints). Promising reviews: "Kevin loves that it is sturdy, practical, and has an endless battery life. 5 out of 5 paws 🐾" —Katie "Rocket is a very important businessman and needed something portable to send out his weekly meeting notes. This was perfect for his needs and I even hear him late at night typing up a storm. 10/10." —Danielle Get it from Amazon for $25 (also available in two other styles). Sleeping and being nosy are two of my cats' favorite activities, so they were instantly drawn to this hammock. I now have two that are street-facing so they can watch cars go by and chatter at squirrels in nearby trees. Promising review: "My boy loves it!!! Despite being on a diet, my boy is definitely hefty and loves all food. This has great support and is extremely durable. I was impressed when it held up to the cat and my dog's full front weight. Very easy to assemble and put in place, and I was even more surprised that I was still able to put the portable AC in the window as well!!! My boy just loves sitting there and sunbathing, and watching the world outside. I definitely highly recommend this. If I had more windows, I would’ve definitely gotten more." —Aries Dragon Get it from Amazon for $21.99+ (available in two sizes). My cats go WILD for these. So much so that I now give it to them like once a month because they will hunger strike for them if they know they're in the house. So far, we've tried the sockeye salmon, shrimp in chicken broth, and chicken and butternut squash, which is — surprisingly — their favorite. Promising review: "Ok, my cat is absurdly spoiled. I tell him regularly that he’s a brat and that there are starving cats who will eat pate, but he doesn’t care. He’s almost 10, and recently, he has really only eaten the gravy/liquid from his wet foods. I tried Friskies gravy sensations, but I had to give them away. Same with Fancy Feast gravy lovers and Fancy Feast broths. He eats these 'soups' like a Hoover vacuum. I’ve actually timed it, and he can eat one in less than a minute. The vet says there’s nothing wrong; he’s just a pig. He’s never even competed for food. We’ve had him since he was six weeks old. I’d post a pic of the food, but I can’t open one without being bombarded by cat yells." —Cat Get a pack of eight from Amazon for $8.16. Promising review: "My cat is flipping OUT. The instant I pulled the tab and tossed it to him, he flailed and slapped it across the floor. He's been playing for 20 minutes straight, and talking about it the whole time. Kitty's rough on his toys, so I anticipate having to perform emergency mouse surgery sooner than later — but for now? This toy's worth every penny." —Emily S. Get a pack of two from Amazon for $9.99. Simply B Vermont is a small business located, you guessed it, in Vermont. They make all kinds of adorable pet accessories and toys for cats AND dogs. Promising review: "These are easily my cat's favorite toys, and I couldn't even tell you why. Maybe it's the perfect size, maybe he loves the felt, or maybe the homemade herb/catnip mix is just purrrrrrfect for him. But he will chase these everywhere." —Becca Get a set of four from Simply B Vermont on Etsy for $9.25+ (available in three color combos; refills for the balls and catnip are also available). Both of my cats took to this as soon as I got it. They store their toys in there, nap in there, and make a wholeeee lot of biscuits. They have a few beds that they use, but this one seems to be their favorite, and I think the high walls are definitely why. Sometimes they use the sides as a pillow and other times they bury their heads into the interior and curl up in a little ball. My only complaint is that they don't sell one in my size. 😞 Promising review: "I rescue geriatric cats and do medical fostering, so I have great appreciation for reasonably priced equipment. These are fabulous! They are quite comfortable for cats with arthritis and joint problems, or just feel miserable due to whatever health issues they have. These are calming and incredibly easy to wash and dry. They hold up very well, and best of all, they are affordable." —M. M. Robinson Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in six sizes and seven colors). Promising review: "Super easy to put the cushions in and zip them up. It's way bigger than I thought it was. My 15-pound savanna cat fits in there. I would recommend 10⭐️ Now, I’m thinking I'm going to order another one for my other cat." —Wendy Get it from Amazon for $33.99+ (available in three sizes and nine colors/styles). Promising review: "My cat LOVES this thing. She is constantly running up and down it and standing on top of it. Excellent quality and the rope is holding up well after a few months of heavy scratching. My cat would previously scratch on my couch, so I knew I had to get her another scratcher to put closer to it. But none I could find were more appealing than our couch until I bought this cactus. Haven't seen her scratch on the couch in months." —Tatiana Get it from Amazon for $81.99+ (available in three sizes). The toy purrs for a solid two minutes when squeezed or cuddled, so your cat can activate it on their own. Promising review: "I LOVE THIS PURPLE CAT SO MUCH!!! I bought one for my kittens when I first got them and they still have it two years later! It is still their favorite snuggle buddy. I have since bought two more of them and I got more kittens recently for my grandma and I got one for her kittens and they love it too! I would strongly recommend this product to any cat owner!!!!" —KateLee Roberts Promising review: "My fur baby LOVES her bed! She climbs up and down and jumps off and swings. Perfect for her activity level, but also she actually sleeps in it!" —fauxysam Oddball Cat Toys is a woman-owned, Rapid City, South Dakota–based small biz from Anne Springer (and her seven cats) that's been selling all sorts of fun toys, collars, and bandanas since 2013. Promising review: "Beautiful handcrafted cat toy. It came super quick, and is the perfect size for both my kitties to enjoy. My tabby is in love with this toy; she bops at it with her little paws and chases it around all the time. My sphynx was a little more hesitant at first, but once she realized mommy wasn't going to get her in trouble for playing with this particular 'forbidden toy' (cotton swabs are her favorite, but I don't let her play with them) she was all for bopping and chasing and chewing it lol. I plan on buying more in the future!" —katherine810 Get it from Oddball Cat Toys on Etsy for $7 (available in six colors and with or without bells and catnip). Tbh I saw these on TikTok and bought them immediately. My cats LOVE them and immediately ambush me whenever I pull them out of the cabinet. I like that they don't have any grains, preservatives, or artificial flavors or colors. They also provide extra hydration, which is great for cats who don't drink a whole lot of water. Promising review: "Now I haven't tasted it myself, but from my cat's reaction, she loves it. She does not mind her manners at all when she sees the tube come out. I think she would rip my arm off to get to it if she could. She enjoys all the flavors. I started off letting her lick it from the tube, but she got a bit messy slobbering all over it and me, so now I squeeze some on a little plate and let her go to town. I sometimes use it to get her to eat her food, but she is clever. She licks it off the food and leaves the apparently nasty food there. Anyway, I recommend them. My cat can be picky, but she loves — and that is not a strong enough word — these." —Tracy Brethorst Get a pack of 12 from Amazon for $14.38. Promising review: "There is a beautiful and adorable neighborhood ragdoll cat that often visits my home. It brings me so much joy when she visits, but she somehow learned to scratch my sofa! I needed a cat scratcher to divert her attention, but most wall-mounted ones have big and ugly brackets that don't fit well with my interior decor. I am so happy to have come across the xympo wall-mounted cat scratcher — finally, a good-looking minimalist design without big exposed brackets. The brackets and the screw are hidden behind the pole, and both ends of the pole are covered with ropes, making it much more elegant and not look out of place among my mid-century style furniture. It was super easy to install and fits perfectly in the narrow space next to my sofa. Most importantly, the cat loved it!" —Sharon The fish comes with a small bag of catnip as well as a USB charger so you can juice it up whenever your cat kills the battery. Promising review: "I'm never sure if a new cat toy will be received as well as I hope, but this one sure delivered! My three cats have been playing with it almost non-stop, except for when I have to take it away to charge it. One of them pretty much hogs it and the other two can't get near it, though they try. It took them a few minutes to realize that they had to touch it to get it to move when it stopped flopping, but once they understood it, they were off to the races. I can't speak to the durability of it, but since the cover can be removed for cleaning, I'm thinking it should last a long time — fingers crossed." —Amazon Gal Get it from Amazon for $12.98+ (available in seven styles). Tuft + Paw is a direct-to-consumer cat brand from Jackson Cunningham. Their products are informed by both feline behavior and aesthetic design. They offer a 50% discount when you choose to donate any of their products to a shelter. It took a few days for my cats to warm up to this, but once they did, they were enamored. Whenever I can't find them, chances are they're in here. They like to use it as a space to spy on me, because they seemingly think they can see me, but I can't see them? Man, they're so weird, but I love 'em. Also, I gotta say that I loveee that there is zero assembly required — you just pop it out of a box. The sphere is also pretty rigid, so it stands up well to scratching, rubbing, and general rough play. Get it from Tuft + Paw for $239 (originally $299). Promising review: "My 8-year-old boy, Po, is very 'meh' about cat toys and fun in general. However, I accidentally ordered three of these and have decided to keep all of them based on his newfound obsession. He goes onto our enclosed patio every day, and his first order of business is to scratch this, lie down in it, and roll around. I can consistently expect him to be there at any point during the day. And the included catnip is an extra special bonus. My orange boy, Tater, likes to occasionally lie down in it and the deep disappointment in Po's eyes has made me have two out so that he's never separated from his scratchy bed. It's super sturdy, a good size for a 14-pound floof, and super cute. 10 stars!!" —B Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in five colors). Promising review: "First of all, I am not a cat, nor have I eaten these myself. So, you'll have to take this review from the point of view of a person who feeds them to three cats. Based on no scientific evidence, I'm concluding that these are quite possibly the most delicious cat treats in existence. They quite literally lose their minds when it's treat time. Our cats have gotten in the habit of getting treats when my wife and I are finished with dinner. Now they bug me for treats while we are still EATING dinner. The treats are bite-sized, roughly textured, and very crunchy. My cats have had the chicken, catnip, and salmon flavors and it seems the most preferred by everybody is salmon. These treats were specifically recommended by my big boy Catto's veterinarian to help with his dental care. They seem of reasonable quality and are well fortified with vitamins and minerals. The pieces stay intact quite well, and there are very few crumbled/broken pieces. Our kitty trio has had a variety of other treats by other manufacturers but these are unequivocally the superior cat treat. We actually have to hide the treats in a drawer that the cats can't open. We used to keep them in a kitchen cabinet, but SOMEBODY figured out how to open the cabinet and the treat box." —Christopher Lang Get them from Amazon for $22.98 (also available in smaller sizes). One Fast Cat is a small business based in central California. Founder Sean Farley launched a Kickstarter campaign to get their product to market, and it was fully funded within seven hours! Promising review: "My 2-year-old sphynx is very energetic and the wheel lets her burn some of that off. Worth every penny to see my baby happy!" —Meaghan M. Get it from One Fast Cat for $189+ (available in various base, traction pad, and inline wheel color combinations). * If Your Kitty Can’t Stop Gnawing On Your Shoes And Attacking Your Couches, Give Them These 27 Fun Things Instead * If Your Cat Is The Light Of Your Life, These 30 Walmart Products Will Really Shine Through BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life.
