“I eat, it stays on. I drink something, it stays on. I put gloss on, it stays on. I go in a mosh pit, it stays on. I kiss my man, it stays on. BEST LIP TINT.”

Promising review: "I’ve finally found my all-time favorite lip color/lip stain/lip gloss. It’s literally an all-in-one deal. It is the PRETTIEST color I’ve ever used and so perfect for that 'bitten' 'swollen' natural color for my lips. It feels amazing going on, leaves your lips hydrated, and literally stays on for hours, even after eating and drinking. The price is great for this, as I’ve bought items at a higher price that don’t last nearly as long. Only complaint is I wish the size was bigger so I had more of it lol. I want to get one in every shade. I also don’t wipe it off. I put it on and just leave it." —Jam5

Promising review: "Love the feel of this glossy stain. It’s not sticky at all, and as it fades, it leaves your lips pillowy soft and softly stained. I have the Berry Banger, and it’s a true juicy berry. When it fades away after a few hours, it looks like I’ve been sucking on a Popsicle or eating fresh berries. It’s easy to apply also, like you don’t need to sit at the mirror and apply carefully, you can just toss a small amount on like a lip gloss. I’ll def be getting more shades for spring. I don’t like sticky lip gloss, and I don’t love matte lipstick either. I prefer tinted balms and stains, or lip oils, this is kind of the best of every world." —Ashley

Promising review: "I’ve tried so many red lip products and most of them either transfer, fade, or require constant touch-ups. The Sacheu Stay-N Lip Stain in Get REDy completely changed that for me. The felt-tip applicator makes it really easy to apply precisely — I build it up in light layers until I get the intensity I want. The shade itself is a true classic red, not too cool or too warm, which makes it surprisingly wearable. It dries down fully matte and genuinely does not move. I ate, drank coffee, and went about my whole day, and it was still there. If you’ve avoided red lips because of the upkeep, this is worth trying. The color payoff, longevity, and precision of this stain make it one of the best I’ve used at this price point." —Nicole

Promising review: "This product is fantastic for those who prefer a soft makeup look. It can be used for both lips and cheeks. It’s highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. The texture is jelly-like, and it has no flavor or scent. It feels great on the skin. The price is a bit high, but it’s very long-lasting." —Pjaime

Get it from Amazon for $26 (available in five shades and two lip sets).

Promising reviews: "On my repurchase list!! My go-to gym/workout lip tint. It stays on, and I look cute while working out!! I keep one in each of my rotating bags. One of the few tints that don't cause dry spots on my lips." —brendaeliza

"I eat, it stays on. I drink something, it stays on. I put gloss on, it stays on. I go in a mosh pit, it stays on. I work a 7-hour shift, it stays on (for the most part). I kiss my man, it stays on. BEST LIP TINT. Only thing I don’t like is you have to be super careful with putting it on bc it will bleed outside of your lip line if you’re not careful, and it will stain." —keena444

Get it from Sephora for $28+ (available in two sizes and eight shades).

Promising review: "This is amazing. It is better than my high-end stains. I love it. The color is a perfect pinkish brown color. Keeps lips hydrated without drying out. The gloss lasts through drinking, and the stain lasts several hours." —Traci

Promising review: "So when I applied the lip stain, it was a little wet to the touch and did transfer to my napkin, but barely. I waited about two minutes, and then I took a napkin and wiped off that top layer, and then I was left with dry, tinted lips. That’s exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a color that was as natural as my lips, almost like I didn’t have anything on, not even a lip stain, just more color to my lips. This is my first time trying a lip stain, so I don’t even know if what I did was the right way of using a lip stain, but it worked for me, and I am in love. I put it on at 8 p.m., washed my face per usual before bed, and I woke up with the lip stain on my lips. —Angelia

Promising review: "I have been into Korean makeup lately because it fits my style and skin tone better, and the Nooni Korean Lip Oil/Lip Stain is the best I have found so far. It glosses on clear, but it immediately stains your lip with a natural color of your choosing. Even though I immediately wiped it off, the color remained quite vivid. It's moisturizing, plumping, and lightweight. Best of all — the price is right!" —Eartist

Promising review: "These are honestly so good! I didn’t know what to expect, but Mocha is indestructible. I put it on in the morning and go about my day, and after dinner in the evening, I can still see it. It turns into a sort of warm cinnamon color over the day, which I’m not mad about." —Viktoria K.

Promising review: "Was not incentivized, not sent product for free. I know there are A LOT of lip oil tints out there and the Korean ones are typically the best, but WOW these have AMAZING pigment and wear a long time." —AlexaRey

Get it from Sephora for $42 (available in six shades).

Promising reviews: "I have several shades of the Teddy Tint. I love how long-lasting it is. It will last most of the day through eating and drinking. The color range is good. It goes on sticky with a more intense color, but one tap of a tissue, and it’s dry and lasts all day. It’s also very affordable compared to many others I’ve tried and lasts longer." —Amazon Customer

"I would compare this lip tint to a high-end formula. Goes on smooth, it’s not thick, it lasts for several hours, beautiful color, and best of all, it’s affordable." —Rose Williams

Get it from Amazon for $8.47+ (available in 20 shades).

Promising review: "I have gone through over five tubes of this and keep buying more. I wear one of two colors every single day, and it defines my lips and adds color that lasts all through the workday. If Ulta ever discontinued this product, I would be HEARTBROKEN. You can build it up to make it bold and wearable (not full coverage tho), but I usually leave it on to soak in and wipe off excess. It provides natural-looking color that doesn't budge." —Nikki P

Get it from Ulta for $11.50 (available in six shades).

Promising review: "This has a nice, creamy texture and it sets matte. It wears like an Estée Lauder lip liner but costs so much less. I pop this on, and it wears for hours at work without bleeding or fading. This is very opaque too, which makes it great for correcting the asymmetry in my upper lip." —Elle

Get it from Amazon for $3.29+ (available in nine colors and packs of two or three).

Promising review: "I hardly ever do reviews, but I had to come here to say this glossy lip stain is so good! Like 'I ate a bowl of pasta, and it was still there' good. Nice texture and not sticky. :)" —Katie Blakley

Promising review: "I love all of the Tarte Maracuja glosses. I love how they glide on, and they smell like coconut oil. They make my lips nice and glossy and moisturized. Nice glossy, not greasy texture. The color stays on my lips even after eating and drinking. I love this one because it is color-shifting and you can use it on your lips and cheeks. I thought the price was a little high, but after using the product, I would gladly pay full price for it again." —TJ

Get it from Amazon for $27 (available in seven shades).

Promising review: "This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I don’t use it glossy, but I love the way it looks after leaving it to set and then wiping it off. It’s a Popsicle-like look, and it lasts for a long time." —Josh and Alison Bohman

Kulfi Beauty is a South Asian woman–owned small biz.

Promising review: "I much prefer lip oils to glosses, and this one is beautiful! It has a very comfortable texture that doesn’t feel too thick or heavy, but still feels moisturizing. I love that it provides a subtle staining — most lip stains I’ve tried will feel somewhat dry or will cling to any flaky, dry patches, but this one doesn’t! I’ve only tried one shade so far (Sweet), and it did leave a nice tint after wearing off. I think if you’re looking for something that leaves a deep stain, you might not find that here. This lip oil is more about comfort, subtlety, and graceful fading rather than totally budge-proof all-day-and-night wear. If you reapply, the stain will deepen and last longer, and the texture is so comfortable that I find myself doing that regardless! Looking forward to trying more shades!" —Brandi

Promising reviews: "Love it! I don’t wear makeup, but I love this lip stain. So beautiful and lasts all day. I will definitely buy it again. It's worth the money. Also lightweight. Doesn’t feel like anything is on my lips." —Christina

"I didn’t know what to expect when I received this product, but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! I absolutely love it! I put it on as soon as it arrived. I kept it on for almost a minute, and when I wiped it off with a damp cotton ball, the color was beautiful. It’s true to its word about the 12-hour staying power. I put a little lip balm over it and enjoyed eating, drinking, and talking. It didn’t come off! Do you like lip stain? Get this product! It’s a keeper. I will be ordering all of the shades." —Brandy

Promising review: "If you are thinking of buying this product or if you are the type of person to wear a lip tint daily under lip gloss or lip balm, I would definitely recommend! I’ve had the Benefit Benetint, and this product performed better in my opinion for less than half the price. My Benetint would settle weirdly on my lips, and sometimes the middle of my lips would be a different shade than the outside, plus it would settle in any little cracks, and this product does not do that for me! So, would totally prefer this and will be repurchasing." —Mollie

Promising review: "I’ve used this product in Forever Pink for quite some time and loved it. Sooo super moisturizing and long-lasting. Definitely buildable, as others have said. It looks straight white and colorless in the tube. Then you put it on, and it adjusts to your body’s own pH levels. I don’t even wanna know what sort of black magic they use to make it happen, but it’s unreal. As a redhead, I appreciate it more than you know. So many end up looking too coral or too brown on me. This is the perfect lip shade! I LOVE THIS STUFF! Totally worth every penny." —MaryMK
