Gwyneth has not publicly responded to the criticism. BuzzFeed reached out to her rep for comment.

"Aside from that, 17,000 people lost their jobs at Spirit Airlines. Why do you think you need the GoFundMe? ... But honestly, it does hurt to try, because now you've pissed me off. I'm not the one. Go find MrBeast; this is literally his entire schtick.

I'm not fucking helping you. All you did was lose your job. Welcome to the real world. I could at least understand if you were like, 'James, I’m a longtime fan. Here's a trillion years of DMs and my support for you. I love you. I'm suffering with a really rare genetic disease that there's no cure for, and I'm trying to raise money for myself and other people that have this.' Maybe I would help.

This bitch, you lost your fucking job? Ugh. What are we gonna do? Nothing! I'm gonna do nothing. You know what you need to do? Go find a fucking new one, girl! Put some effort into the workplace! Ugh!” he said.

The comment says this: "This is so wild lol why is he so pressed?? Ignore and move on!!!"

The comment says this: "Even from a PR standpoint why would he think this was normal to do 😭"

The comment says this:  "Holy shit he is cruel af, I only watched 30 seconds but omg, but also not surprised???"

The comment says this: "Yeah he has never applied for a job in his life if he thinks it takes 30 seconds."

He continued, "I have no idea what was going on in her life, and I should have never assumed that she was copying and pasting this DM as an easy way out. I don't know. I just don't know. My intention behind making this video in the first place was, I get a lot of messages like this every single day, and for me, it definitely sucks to receive messages from people that don't follow you and don't support you treating you like our personal ATM or bank account. But what I'm sure sucks even fucking more is not knowing where your next paycheck is coming from and not being sure whether or not you're gonna be able to put food on the table for yourself and your family."

He said that his intentions behind the video didn't matter because it came across as "super fucking privileged" and like he was shaming unemployed people for "not trying hard enough to get a job."

He said, "I feel awful because that wasn't my intention, and I really hurt a lot of people... I'm super sorry, especially to the woman from Spirit Airlines."

He also offered to help the person who originally DM'd him "a little bit" if they were comfortable reaching out.

Kai has not publicly responded to the criticism.

Tracy hasn't publicly responded to the criticism.

Interestingly, he earned his degree in education from the University of Michigan, though he didn't intend to become a teacher. He transferred from the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts to the School of Education because he couldn't pass the undergraduate language requirement. After graduation, he went into sales.

"And people can make fun of it, they can laugh, but I don't care. I'm the one doing it. And it works," he said.

He added, "All respect to the ballet and opera people out there. Damn, I just took shots for no reason."

"I mean, he wouldn't be an actor and have the opportunities he has as a movie star if it weren't for opera and ballet and their relevance in that medium. All of these mediums have a space, and we shouldn't be comparing them," she said.

Timothée has not publicly responded to the criticism.

Much of Timothée's Marty Supreme press run was criticized for the perceived arrogance he displayed in the run-up to the Oscars. He ultimately lost Best Actor to Michael B. Jordan.

The comment says this: "idk, 'keep doing your best while looking for better opportunities! I'm proud of you for toughing it out!' would have went over well I'd think"

The comment says this: "'you know, I don't think I'm in the best position to answer that. I don't have a normal job, or experience that would be relevant to the advice. That said, I would tell them not to stay somewhere out of a misguided loyalty. If you are able to leave a toxic workplace, you should do that. I just understand that especially now, there isn't a lot of fluidity on the job market or in a lot of people's personal finances. So that brings me back around to my first point: don't take job advice from someone who isn't in touch with your actual situation.'"

Emily hasn't publicly responded to the criticism.

In a statement, Delta told People, "We apologize to Mr. Roach for his experience. A last‑minute aircraft change to ensure an on-time departure meant the flight operated without Delta One seating, and our Customer Care team has reached out and is working directly with him to address the situation."

Law has not publicly responded to the criticism.

He continued, "To me, it wasn't about the coffee. It wasn't about the thing. It was about the appreciation that is in the way of life there. Of how special they treat food, how special they treat their relationships with each other, how special they treat time that is spent together.

Ultimately, I think it comes back to appreciating the love around you and the time you have. It was, for me, just the right time to… I think I knew that if I keep just going, and I stop this tour, and I just make another record, and then I go tour that, I'm going to do it this way for the rest of my life without ever taking a moment to check in with myself about, like, 'Am I even processing how special this is?' Because you can't miss something if you don't go anywhere. You have to give some space to allow for something to show up as special again."

She continued, "But baby, if that's normal, and I get inflation. Like, I get prices these days have gone up. But if that's the new norm, y'all can have it. Y'all will never see me at another event. I'mma stay my ass right here where it's free... I see a lot of y'all at events, and there's no way you guys are paying these prices each and every time."

In the caption, Simone added, "I will be staying inside for the foreseeable future 🥴 on another note, also kinda wack when they double or triple the price because of your name. this didn't happen this time but it has before 🤍 my intention isn't to bash anyone, everyone I work with/have worked with is LOVELY! I'm just curious if this is normal."

Simone hasn't publicly responded to the criticism.

The comment says this: "The 1% pandering to the 99% by taking shots at the .01%. So brave."

The comment says this: "I have ZERO respect for anyone showing up to this in 'protest,' Your presence is validation that you have never and will never ride for the 'working class and poor.' Full stop. You are inauthentic, out of touch and are the 1%..."
