Promising review: "New gardener's best friend. This fertilizer saved my young sweet potato plants and got them back on track! I live in zone 8a 7b, where it is extremely hot and humid. I took my time with sprouting my sweet potatoes and grew beautiful, strong, and healthy slips. I took the time to harden them off before planting and gave them the ideal soil and growing conditions. What I hadn't accounted for was the extreme heat and full sun that scorched the tender young leaves and vines. My poor plants were not growing and began to shrivel up to a crisp. So I mixed this fertilizer in with fresh growing medium, then topped off my beds. I knew rain was coming, so I let them have a good drink. I've since added partial shade to help buffer the direct sun as well. If you need to get your plants off to a strong start, this fertilizer is a must.
