Donald Trump appeared to burn the midnight oil on Tuesday night with a 2:38 a.m. ET post on his Truth Social platform.

The president, who has been repeatedly pictured in recent months appearing to doze off during daytime public events, and who’d earlier spoken at a rally at a Mack Trucks facility in Pennsylvania, took to social media to rant about communists.

“America the Beautiful will NEVER be a Communist Country!!! President DJT,” read the message.

It might have been a reference to primary results in New York, where candidates endorsed by New York City’s democratic socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani fared well.

However, Trump is well known for his contempt for anyone to the political left of him.

At 12:12 a.m., the president raged about oil prices not coming down fast enough, a problem that he caused with the launch of his Iran war.

And just 20 minutes earlier, he fumed about the “many communists” who he claimed are “running in badly failing Blue States.”

Earlier, the president attacked anti-Trump attorney George Conway after the latter lost his primary election.
