I live in a multigenerational household and several of the adults are really specific about how to create their morning cup of coffee, especially my husband and my mom. We got this kettle, and it has made making a cup of coffee (which, if I'm being honest, happens several times a day) such a better experience. The gooseneck means we have precise control over water flow and pouring speed, which ensures even extraction and a balanced, flavorful cup of coffee. I bought one for myself when I became a homeowner, because nothing prepares you for the reality that every item in your house requires a different size battery. Having them all organized and visible prevents that specific rage that comes from knowing you own the battery you need but can't find it. The built-in tester is also clutch for figuring out if something is actually broken or just powered by a dud.
