‘Stark. Raving. Mad.’: Critics Rip Trump After His Weirdest AI Slop Post Yet
Images
President Donald Trump upped his AI slop game with a bizarre new post using President George Washington to help promote his planned massive White House ballroom. In the AI video, Trump and Washington walk around the ballroom. Neither speaks, but both gesture at the ballroom around them. Two giant American flags with the wrong number of stripes are on the wall behind them. “Thank you, George, for some of your brilliant ideas on this great Military Complex/Ballroom! President DJT,” Trump wrote in the caption on Sunday. He posted the AI video as well as AI still pics of himself and the nation’s first president in the ballroom multiple times over the weekend. Trump in his post referred to the ballroom as his “military complex/ballroom.” He has recently added that “military complex” designation amid heavy criticism over the lavish nature of the ballroom and as lawsuits seek to block the construction. Calling the ballroom a “military complex” can help him make a national security case for the facility in court. Trump initially vowed that private donors would pay for his ballroom and taxpayers wouldn’t pay a penny. Since then, however, costs have ballooned to a reported $600 million, with U.S. taxpayers on the hook for half of that amount. Critics have been outraged by the fact that the president has been obsessing over an expensive party facility amid a war with Iran, rising prices, trade disputes and other national crises. They hit back on X: Just Trump posting AI slop video of him giving George Washington a tour of the White House. In any sane world, the men in white coats would have been called in months ago. pic.twitter.com/at8hc2MkLC Trump posted himself giving George Washington a tour of his new White House ballroom. He is absolutely fucking insane. pic.twitter.com/TYAxeiPqIg He was posting this kind of crap all day with him Washington and Jefferson. This guy is not well. https://t.co/edqitqKqUu Trump posted an AI video of himself,... giving George Washington a tour of his imaginary Ballroom. Stark. Raving. Mad.(Note that Washington, who was 6'3",... is depicted as much shorter than Trump.) pic.twitter.com/HjgFvA177g If @seanhannity were really a friend of Donald Trump, he'd talk to the kids about staging an intervention, bc Trump keeps making it clear that he has utterly lost grasp of reality. Instead, Sean fluffs it, as if any of this puts America First. https://t.co/6jOdwWQFaZ While gas prices soar Americans lose health care and trapped sailors eat rotten meat pic.twitter.com/2PynI9cJXz Don't think George would approve . https://t.co/IVAmx1kiYU Sailors are at sea eating rotten food and trying to jump overboard and this is what's on the mind of the President of the Untied States. https://t.co/TVqKhIV9Vf Trump should pay as much attention to the war he started. Or to the healthcare proposal he promised years ago that would supposedly make our healthcare more affordable and better. Where is the AI video about that? https://t.co/2gmtG4oCDp This is the shit Trump thinks about. Not lowering prices for Americans, not ending a war, not getting the USS Lincoln to Port. He's daydreaming about what George Washington would think about his ballroom. smh https://t.co/Wrd5B2IM6X Look how much bigger Trump looks compared to George Washington. I’m sure that was done on purpose. https://t.co/p2fIafu8vN Seriously, Eric—“AWESOME!”?Americans are asking where the hell their affordable healthcare is, why groceries cost a fortune, and why filling a gas tank hurts.Meanwhile, you’re breathlessly reporting that Trump made an AI picture of himself giving George Washington a ballroom… https://t.co/pcsDNDAUHD By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
