I am a former editor and contributor to the BuzzFeed shopping team with over seven years of experience testing and recommending products that help make life a little easier, whether that’s ultralight gear, holy grail serum, jeans that fit just right, or anything in between. These are my first pair of Hokas, and they totally made me a convert! I knew everyone loved them, but it wasn't until trying some for myself that I was like, "Ohhhh, they're THAT comfortable. Got it." I spent the last few years in film school, and these are always what I wear for days on set when I know I'm going to be on my feet, climbing ladders, and running around all over the place for about 12 hours straight. I've also worn them to hike in Colorado and North Carolina and adore them for travel. They're light, have never given me a blister even though I'm super prone to them, and yeah, they just rule. I have the previous model, and these seem to fall in line with them! Promising review: "I bought these recently and wore them for a four-day trip to Washington, DC, where we were walking 20,000+ steps a day. My feet did not hurt throughout the whole trip. The grip was great, especially for hills. I'm usually between a medium and a wide, and I ordered the wide in these and did not have an issue." —Tired T Price: $155 (available in women's sizes 5–11 in eight colors and men's sizes 7–15 in 10 colors; also available in wide fits) Promising review: "I went to Italy and walked about six miles a day. At 65 and not in the best of shape, I never would have made it without my Bondi 9 Hokas. I love them so much, I just ordered another pair. They are spendy, but I got tired of wasting money on other shoes." —Debbie Price: $175 (available in women's sizes 4–12 and 23 colors and men's sizes 7–16 and in 27 colors) Promising review: "I am a big fan of the Clifton! This is my third pair, and I don’t even want to try a different shoe. I walk three miles a day in them, and I also wear them for regular strengthening and fitness exercises. They are incredibly comfortable, and I like the white color and design. Even with leggings and a T-shirt for running errands, these shoes are stylish and fit well. I do buy them a full size up from my regular shoe size for toe room when fitness walking." —Wendy W. "Currently wearing these shoes every day while on vacation. Lots of walking. Don’t even think about taking them off ’til it’s bedtime." —Cecilia B. Price: $155 (available in women's sizes 4–12 in 15 colors and men's sizes 7–16 in 13 colors; also available in wide fits) Promising reviews: "This is the second time I've bought these sandals. I'm still wearing the first pair I bought three years ago, and I got a second pair recently just because I like them so much. I wear them for a lot of walking as an everyday, about-the-town, and countryside shoe. They are high-quality, durable, comfortable, and I love their design. I wear a women's 9.5, and they are true to size."—Nancy "My prior pair lasted five years. I loved every minute with them. Looking forward to the same here." —Billy Price: $135 (available in sizes M5/W6–M14/W15 and six colors) Promising review: "These shoes have quickly become my everyday shoe. I have had other slip-on, sock-like shoes and always found the fabric around the ankle to be too flimsy, but not with these. I am a true size 14, and they fit perfectly, are very easy to get on and off, and very plush! I never notice that I don't have laces on my shoe, the fit is the same as a shoe with laces." —Matt A. Price: $175 (available in women's sizes 5–12 in seven colors and men's sizes 7–15 in seven colors) Promising review: "I ran in the Mafate X and found true love in the first five steps. This is the ultimate trail run shoe. I actually giggle when I wear them because it's such a comfy ride. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I'll be buying several pairs once I hit the lottery." —Rachel Price: $225 (available in women's sizes 5–11 in four colors and men's sizes 7–14 in four colors) Promising review: "As soon as I got them, I put them on and immediately felt the comfort of these Hoka slides. They're as comfortable as the two pairs of Clifton 9s I own. An awesome product; I love them both!!!!" —Hammertime Price: $39+ (available in sizes M3/W5–M14/W16 and six colors) * Heels That Won’t Have You Begging For A Shoe-Change * Water-Friendly Shoes For The Beach, Water Parks, And More * Comfortable Pairs Of Shoes Reviewers Say They’ve Walked Miles In Without Pain Plus, waterproof running shoes, ballet flats, Mary Jane sneakers, chunky sneakers, and finds from Amazon, Clarks, DSW, Walmart, and Zappos.
