Some on the left weren’t thrilled that the right-wing pundit who regularly spews hate was “trying to co-opt” the late country music icon’s “legacy.”

The news prompted Kelly to take to X and do something … nice. 

In a tribute post to the late singer/songwriter, the right-wing pundit wrote: “Dolly Parton seemed as close to total goodness as any mere mortal could come.”

Dolly Parton spent a heckuva lot of her time, energy, and money helping the poor, and some of her favorite people in the world were flamboyantly fabulous drag queens. Remember that when you see the MAGAs trying to co-opt her legacy right now
