Abdul El-Sayed’s Best Trump Impression Comes With A Special Shoutout
Images
Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed delivered his best impression of President Donald Trump at a town hall event on Wednesday, while also bringing up White House aide Natalie Harp. “Donald Trump, because he can’t resist the red meat, can’t seem to keep my name out of his mouth,” El-Sayed said. “Habibi, if you can’t say the name, don’t say the name.” El-Sayed went on to mock the way Trump pronounces his name. “Why you gotta say it like that, man? It’s creepy,” El-Sayed said. El-Sayed: Donald Trump cannot seem to keep my name out of his mouth. Habibi, if you can’t say the name, don’t say the name. “Abdul. Abull”. Do not say it like that. It is creepy. Holds onto the "L" a little too long. Natalie is going to show him this clip and he’s going to be so… pic.twitter.com/BsaJ8T7o60 El-Sayed mentioned Harp, who has recently been thrust into the national spotlight after intimate letters she allegedly wrote to Trump were made public, and The Washington Post revealed that she was one of only a handful of White House staffers who accompanied Trump inside a catering truck when he secretly left a NATO summit in Turkey. “You know Natalie’s gonna show him this clip and he’s gonna be so mad,” El-Sayed said. El-Sayed’s passing mention of Harp echoed a strategy recently employed by Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.). Discussions about the White House aide seemingly elicit visceral responses from many MAGA-adjacent figures.
