British man rescued nearly a week after deadly floods hit Nepal

A British national has been rescued in Nepal nearly a week after deadly floods hit the country, killing more than 1,000 people.

A Nepali army spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday they had rescued 118 Nepalese people and one British male as rescue efforts continued across the region.

More than 3,900 people remain missing.

The British national has not yet been identified.
