Promising review: "I bought a pair of Frye Campus 14L boots about eight years ago and I still wear my boots as often as possible. I get the heels redone every other year (I walk hard) but the leather shaft and sole last like dream. I definitely recommend sizing a half-size down. I didn't know this and bought my regular size. I'd recommend buying the Frye weatherproof spray and treating them before wearing. Also, some people said that they were concerned about the heel slipping. All cowboy boots should have some heel slippage, and if they don't, then they're too small. The slippage gives your foot room when you walk, and with time, the leather will soften and slippage will be less. So if your heel slips a little as you walk, it doesn't mean it's too big.
