Motorcyclist dies in crash, closing section of Southeast Powell Blvd

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) โ A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving another vehicle, prompting officials to close down a section of Southeast Powell Boulevard in Portland Saturday, officials said. Just after 2 p.m., officers responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at Southeast Powell Boulevard and 28th Avenue. Plans to build Columbia County diesel plant advance According to Portland police, paramedics arrived and took the motorcyclist to a hospital where they later died from their injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene, authorities said. During the crash investigation, police say Southeast Powell Boulevard will be closed in both directions between Southeast 26th and Southeast 29th Avenues.
