White House Attempt To Turn Trump Into A New Meme Backfires Over Truly Awkward Flaw
Images
The White House tried to create a new meme for President Donald Trump over the weekend. But as critics were quick to point out, it had one glaring flaw. The official feed on Sunday posted an image of Trump holding six Uno cards with the phrase “I HAVE ALL THE CARDS” written across it: pic.twitter.com/NM0SdwNu9A Trump likes saying his opponents have “no cards” and has used the phrase recently against Iran. “Also, we have all the cards, they have none!” he wrote on Truth Social last month. However, the goal in most versions of Uno ― the game depicted in the White House meme ― isn’t to have all the cards. It’s to have none. As many were quick to point out on social media, having all the cards would make Trump the loser: Dear @WhiteHouse: If trump has all the cards, then why are gas prices at record levels?Oh wait, in Uno you win by not having any cards. Your social media person really should get fired. https://t.co/2JLNn73IRY This is perfect actually because in UNO, the person holding the most cards is LOSING. https://t.co/Eivrj3HFPx Trump has all the cards in a game where the objective is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. https://t.co/gaR8Ycif7d pic.twitter.com/sOI6gI9ju9 In UNO, having the most cards means you are losing. Lol. https://t.co/1hgNeBevru Isn't the point of Uno to have LESS cards, not ALL the cards?¯\_(ツ)_/¯ https://t.co/tZOIpjcGoT Very true. The way to lose in Uno is to have all the cards. https://t.co/h69lRwiXr7 I don't think he's ever played Uno in his life because this is a fundamental misunderstanding of how Uno works https://t.co/mA8FEiqw1w pic.twitter.com/Dk89UNAgbe By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
