The reality star hits back at speculation... Harry Jowsey, 29, is an Australian reality star who first rose to fame on New Zealand’s Heartbreak Hotel in 2018. He went on to appear on shows including Too Hot to Handle, Perfect Match, and Dancing With the Stars, and now has his very own Netflix show, Let’s Marry Harry. Produced by Alexandra Cooper’s production company, Unwell, the premise of the show is pretty much exactly what it says on the tin: Jowsey sets out to find a wife. He's placed in a house with 20 women competing for the chance to marry him, with guidance from his ex-girlfriend, a longtime friend, and TV host Amanda Kloots. Jowsey chose contestant Amber Mozo over fellow finalist Dannelle Davidson, and the pair exchanged vows. But it's off-screen that rumours started flooding in. TMZ initially reported that the marriage paperwork had not been submitted, meaning the pair are not legally married. Jowsey has since broken his silence and taken to socials to set the record straight. "I don’t know the order of things; I don’t know shit," Jowsey shared on Instagram and TikTok. "But on the day of the wedding, you show up, say ‘I do,’ have a little smooch, get the hell out of there go on a honeymoon. But this is how it went down.…” He went on to explain that following the ceremony, production "took me and Amber back up to the house" to finalise the paperwork. However, they said they couldn't "submit this until after the reunion". "Because basically if they submitted it on the day, all the money, all the time, everything like that, everything they invested in the show would have been for nothing because it would have been ruined and you guys wouldn’t watch the show," he continued. In an effort to "save the whole experience," Jowsey claimed the production team "held onto the paperwork". "But now you will see once the reunion is done and out there, if it gets submitted, or if it gets torn up," he added. Additional photo thumbnail credit: Netflix
