Promising review: "This is the PERFECT air fryer for apartments, condos, or smaller households (just two of us). Small footprint on the counter, not too tall, and looks nice, too. Makes AMAZING fish fillets (salmon, halibut) that cook evenly and get a little crispy. Very good for roasting vegetables, but do as it says and turn them halfway. Frozen snacks come out great every time. Competent at toast (it takes a little experimenting). Super-easy to program (temp/time/start), the warm-up countdown helps get the temp right before cooking, and there’s a guide inside the door showing the correct rack position for each use. And the unique 'a bit more' feature is brilliant! Just what you need for that extra browning or for a thicker piece of food. Cleanup is a breeze if you use parchment (for fish) and/or leave the pan in the bottom, and the lower tray slides out for easy cleanup. Uses way less electricity than the oven, and doesn’t heat up the whole house in the summer. Don’t know about long-term reliability yet, but so far it’s very much worth the extra money compared to the competitors we’ve used." —Stephen5280

You need to use induction-compatible cookware with this!

Promising review: "I absolutely could not be happier with this cooktop.

I set out to specifically purchase a different brand based on recommendations that I had read on several cooking sites. But as I compared features, specifications, prices, and the ergonomics of the design... The Duxtop appeared to be the better choice.

I have yet to even need to set to the highest temperature. The cooktop comes on at medium, and I find that I most often lower that to medium-low. Only when using the 5 and 6 quart pots or the 12-inch skillet (all cast-iron) have I needed to set it to medium high.

The controls are simple, with a sensible layout, and properly located for ease of use. They are large enough for a man's fingers and the markings are easily legible to my old eyes.

Clean up is a cinch, just a swipe with the dishrag. Done.

One absolutely wonderful aspect of induction cooking is that the heat goes into the food...not the kitchen. No sweating over a hot range now. That also equates to less energy usage, and I am sure to see that when the electric bills come. With the amount I cook, I expect to see a savings payback in less than a year!" —bricevine

Promising review: "I never thought I’d describe a toaster as beautiful, but this one truly is! The sleek, stylish design looks fantastic on my countertop and doesn’t take up much space, which I love.

The best part is that it fits my homemade sourdough slices perfectly. No more squishing the bread or cutting it in half to make it fit. I can pop in a full slice, and it comes out evenly toasted every time.

If you enjoy artisan bread and appreciate appliances that are both functional and attractive, this toaster is a winner. Who knew a toaster could be this beautiful?" —M Ko

Promising review: "As a mom, this sandwich maker has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools. It makes it so easy to create perfect, sealed circle sandwich pockets that look just like the store-bought ones, but with much healthier ingredients!

It is absolutely great for making fun, creative afternoon snacks for the kids. I love that I can customize the fillings with whatever they are craving that day—from classic PB&J to little ham and cheese pockets. It seals the edges beautifully so nothing leaks out, and it cuts off the crusts effortlessly.

The kids get so excited for snack time now, and it saves me money on pre-made frozen boxes. If you are a mom looking to add some fun to your kids' lunchbox or snack routine, you need this!" —Melissa C.

Promising review: "Second time I have bought this coffee maker and it never disappoints. I would highly recommend this brand and this model. Very easy to clean and the coffee taste is fabulous. It lasts longer than any other brand I have bought in the previous years." —jackie kuske

This handy kitchen gadget has seven functions: rice cooker, pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, sauté, yogurt maker, and warmer! Check out our review of the Instant Pot!

Promising review: "This is quite possibly the coolest, most versatile kitchen gadget I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I’ve purchased two more for friends and relatives. What can it do? I think the real question is 'What can’t it do?' I truly believe you could replace every cooking appliance (including your oven and stove top) and do EVERYTHING in the Instant Pot. I purchased two sizes for my own use: the 3-quart (which is my almost-every-day workhorse for two-person dishes) and the 8-quart (which I bring out to handle my dinner party dishes). Everything I’ve tried has been fabulous. In the realm of kitchen appliances, there is no better investment than the Instant Pot. Highly recommended!!!" —Stereoman

Promising review: "ABSOLUTELY EGG-CELLENT! I highly recommend this product! I have read egg boiling and peeling tips from home cooks to top chefs, but it’s still a messy, time consuming task, especially peeling them. But the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker took care of everything!

From start to finish I had my eggs hard boiled, soaked in ice water, peeled, and cleaned up the cooker in 35 minutes. The product is so easy to use. The directions are clear and simple. Along with the step by step instructions are images, so you can’t mess up. The cooker sits firmly on the counter, each part included is made of high quality materials, and it works exactly as advertised.

If you want your boiled eggs to turn out egg-ceptional every time, purchase the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker!" —Shannon

It can weigh items ranging between 0.1 ounces to 22 pounds, and comes with AAA batteries so you can try it out right away. Plus, it features a tare function, which allows you to place a mixing vessel (e.g., bowl) on top, zero out the weight, then add your ingredients and weigh just those.

Promising review: "This was my third kitchen scale over the past 25 years, and it's far and away the best of the lot. So good, in fact, that I bought a second one for our vacation home, and I’ve gifted it twice. Bought for the first time in 2019, and have used that one several times per day, every single day. It’s still going strong. It’s a convenient size for use at home, yet small enough to toss into my suitcase whenever I travel (I like using a scale to make coffee). The display is very bright (almost too bright haha) and large numbers are easy to read without my glasses early in the morning. These scales use AAA batteries instead of the disc shaped ones, which is very convenient. Batteries last a really long time, even with a minimum of 3-5 daily uses, especially if you use lithiums." —Miz Luv

Promising review: "Do not hesitate and don't buy less expensive brands. The GABA rice alone made some the best rice I've ever had! I eat brown rice because it's healthier — not tastier. Well...that changed. The cleanup and operation is easy as can be. I made whole oat groats using the Steel Cut Oatmeal setting and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Can't wait to try forbidden black rice and wild rice next. Cakes coming soon (Keto).

I had a Toshiba that failed (chipped pot) at 32 days and an Aroma that may as well have been a boat anchor. Glad the Toshiba failed and I spent the extra Benjamin — worth it!" —Michael D. Rubin

Promising review: "This was the blessing I didn't know that I needed. I never dreamed I would use this tool as often as I do. I have mastered pestos, pastas, sauces, you name it! My very first endeavor was making pasta, which I was very intimidated by. It made it so easy! We love a good filet and asparagus, and the best sauce for that is hollandaise sauce. This food processor made it a breeze, and it is so delicious! My favorite thing to do is to puree garlic and herbs with my food processor and freeze it in small silicone molds to keep on hand to use while cooking. The garlic grinds so well that it is almost a paste and works perfectly for my needs. I have loaded this little machine down, and I have never worried about overloading it. She is a chopping, slicing, grinding, blending powerhouse! You can throw everything into the dishwasher, which makes clean up a breeze, or just quickly wash it to re-use immediately. I am almost tempted to buy a second unit to keep in storage just as a backup in case anything ever happens to this one." —Julie White

Promising review: "It is a true marvel of science, magically producing perfect frozen yogurt from fruit, yes that's right, magic. It blew my mind how similar it is to real ice cream. If you had placed a bowl in front of me, I dare say I would not recognize its true composition of pure fruit. Magic frozen yogurt which I am now guiltlessly consuming as I transcribe this very review." —Tosh

Promising review: "I wanted to do a test run so I hacked my store bought pancake batter mix to make Belgium Waffles. They could not have turned out better or more delicious. They were light and the perfect height with deep grooves. Even with a little overflow on the one waffle it was so easy to clean. This is going to get some serious use. Highly satisfied!" —ZepMag

Promising review: "This is miles ahead of the competition. It's powerful, heating up my water more than twice as fast as my Instant Pot model; also, it generates a much stronger current. Both of these enable it to warm 17 gallons (much more if in the right container), which I think is its main selling point. As far as build, this thing is just perfect. Large Min and Max water area, very adjustable, and able to work 24/7 with no issues." —Aaron Martin

Promising review: "After using a manual juicer for quite some time, I decided to go ahead and pick up an electric one. After a fair amount of research, I settled on this Cuisinart model and purchased it. It had all of the features that I needed while taking up a small footprint, and it matched the rest of my kitchen as well. From the first day that I received it, I couldn’t have been more pleased.

The black and stainless steel in a tall, cube like presentation was precisely what I was after. I’m a fan of hard lines, so anything that was rounded was out for me. This little guy looks great. I immediately got to work on some lemons in order to make some fresh lemonade. There are three pulp selections which can be chosen by twisting the reamer. I prefer to use the medium setting, as it lets some pulp through but prevents seeds from getting through. I juiced up three lemons in less time than I would spend with one manually. The reverse feature is helpful as well; I’ve found that I haven’t needed to even use the final spin feature, which is activated using the lid and spins the unit faster to extract juice left in the sieve, as my lemons were completely juiced just from the normal and reverse functions alone. Activating the reverse function is as easy as letting up on the pressure while you are juicing a piece of fruit. The unit will randomly go into reverse mode. There is no switch or button that you have to press. It’s highly convenient. The spout on the tray also has a small degree of adjustment, but you will need to use shorter glasses to catch the juice with this unit. I have a Ball jar that I use with mine that seems to be the perfect height.

When it came time to break the unit down for cleaning, nothing could be easier. The reamer and sieve pop apart with a twist, and the tray lifts right off. You simply rinse everything and then throw it in the top rack of a dishwasher. You can also hand wash them as well. If you want to make things even easier on yourself, you can juice a bunch of things at once and put the excess juice into ice cube trays and freeze it. All in all, this is a great little juicer that saves time and gets the maximum yield from fruit." —B.

Promising review: "Like all ice cream makers, the ability to know what you put into your ice cream is a huge draw. Possibly more important is what you *don't* put into your ice cream. Purchasing ice cream from the store is infinitely easier than making your own from scratch, but then so is ordering pizza and fast food over cooking your own, and most of us are aware that doing so comes at it's own cost. If you want to make your own ice cream that is healthier, usually tastes better, and can be made to whatever ice cream cravings you happen to be having at the moment, then you want your own ice cream maker.

Is it pricy? Yeah, it assuredly isn't going to win any votes from the super-budget minded. Is it a great ice cream machine? Yes, it really is. It does everything you could want it to do, it's very aesthetically pleasing, and you can tell it is very well built. This is not something I can see breaking down on me, something that you always risk when choosing a budget appliance. Is it worth it? That really comes down to how much you'll use it. I have a vegan ice cream book I bought (N'ice Cream: 80+ Recipes for Healthy Homemade Vegan Ice Creams) specifically so I would have all the recipes I'd ever want, to make sure I made use of this purchase. I recommend the book also, even if you're not vegan, as there are some great recipes for inspiration if nothing else." —Kenneth M.

Promising review: "I LOVE this bread machine! I've had a half-dozen breadmakers over the years, including the more expensive but inferior CBK-200 over the past five years, and this CBK-110 is simply the best I've used. The consistency, ease-of-use, ease-to-clean, flavor, size, and control panel are the best around." —B. Williams, Software Engineer

Promising review: "I had to wear earplugs when using my old mixer, it was so loud and always sounded like it was overloaded! This one is not only quiet but much better at mixing! The beater gets to the edges much better, and the added bonus of the pouring shield has me in baking heaven! If you are concerned about spending a lot of money for a mixer, don't. You get what you pay for and hands down this is THE best mixer of all! I wish I'd gone ahead and spent the money for it the first time around! I think the most difficult part of the purchase was choosing a color!" —Morgan

Promising review: "I got my Ninja Crisper today and reheated some stuffed bread with feta cheese and spinach, and it did a wonderful job. It was like it just came out of the oven the first time. Nice and crispy outside, but the inside heated just right. I love that the bottom glass can be covered with the lid it comes with. They come with a metal plate you can put in the glass bottom part, and it actually fits into the lid, so it doesn't get lost. The glass makes a difference in the taste, too. It is a great product and well worth it." —Jennifer

Promising review: "I am genuinely blown away by this electric salt and pepper grinder set! Not only are they incredibly sleek and modern — adding the perfect aesthetic touch to my kitchen — but they also function flawlessly. The adjustable grind settings are super easy to use, and the LED light is surprisingly handy for seeing exactly how much seasoning you’re adding. They’re lightweight but feel sturdy, and the motor is powerful yet quiet. No clogging, no uneven grinding — just smooth, consistent performance every time. I’ve gotten so many compliments on these from friends and family, and I honestly can’t imagine going back to manual grinders after using these." —Sabra Schuller

Promising review: "There are cheaper blenders, but I don't think there are any better ones. I owned another Braun for over 20 years, and lost it in a divorce. This one is just as good. Also, the accessories make it worth the extra money. The chopper and the whisk are valuable tools that add to the things you can do with your blender, and the variable speed is super easy to use. Just push a little harder on the speed control, and it speeds up. I am super happy with this product." —SoPadreDon

Promising review: "I literally use this — several times a day! This is so very worth the price and investment and I love the tablets - this saves me so much time and energy. I love it esp for pump parts because it fully dries them and keeps them sterilized for up to 3 days I believe it you set it in the storage setting. I absolutely LOVEEEE this and thinks it is well worth the small investment because it saves so much sanity. I can throw in a load of bottles and clean my living room and they’re done! I love that this actually washes and has the capability of sanitizing if necessary. You can also remove some of the attachments and fit more bottles inside. I have also traveled with this out of state cuz it’s that worth not having to worry about handwashing and drying the pump parts fully prior to storing/using. I always rinse my bottles or dishes prior to loading up. It also doesn’t take up much room and it’s easy to set up. I highly recommend this if you pump or use bottles of any kind. This is very high quality and I’ve never had any issues with it leaking or not performing properly. It’s easy, reliable and makes life as a mom easier and that was the main objective. Every new mom needs this for sure!" —Rachel Moriel

I love that I can make soup with this blender. It has plenty of power and a large enough volume to make plenty for a small household. It is also easy to clean!" —Daniel & Amanda

Promising review: "I rarely write online reviews of products I buy, but I am so impressed by this machine I must share with people who are contemplating this purchase.

BOTTOM LINE: This is an extremely good value for the price, and I would HIGHLY recommend this machine to anyone regardless of their experience level with making espresso-based beverages.

I am very careful when buying products in this kind of price range, and thus do a lot of research before buying. This is especially true with something you can't truly "try before you buy."

This is an extremely well designed product. Every little detail, from the exterior and interior packaging to the controls on the front of the machine, is very thoughtfully done, well executed, and serves its intended purpose. From the beginning you see that it is a high quality product, and Breville spent money where it matters. The materials are visually appealing as well as sturdily built, with the kind of craftsmanship and heft you would expect from a much higher priced machine.

The controls are easy to use, and the movable items such as the portafilter and steamer wand are holding up well and I have zero concern about long term reliability. The steamer wand, compared to my previous Saeco, seems to create much richer milk foam, which is important for lattes and cappuccinos." —Buddy

Price: $679.99+ (available in three colors)

Includes: sparkling water maker, two 60L CO2 cylinders, three 1-liter dishwasher-safe BPA-free reusable carbonating bottles, and two 40 ml flavor drops.

Promising review: "This is my new favorite house item. No more buying sparkling water bottles in bulk and dragging them home. I bought this set and extra refill bottles that I have not needed to use yet, my first bottle seems to last long. I also find the quality of bubbles much nicer than store bought ones. The bubbles feel a little bigger so they do not foam up the way freshly opened bought bottles do. Much smoother to drink. The refillable bottles are of a thicker material and feel like a higher quality. wide opening is also a plus. SUPER easy to use. I typically do 3–4 pumps per bottle and also use a few drops of the flavor. Sparkling water does not get flat as quickly. Easy to place as there is no cord. —BB

Promising review: "I'm almost embarrassed to say I lived almost 28 years before owning this electric wine opener. Wow. What a game changer. Life is hard enough, you should not have to break a sweat to enjoy a glass (or 4) of wine. Am I right? I love it so much, it is now the only gift I give. Getting married? You're getting an electric wine opener. Baby shower? You're definitely getting an electric wine opener. It is honestly my favorite appliance in the kitchen. It has earned the coveted permanent spot on the counter. (You know how you have a closet full of crockpots but would never dream of actually storing them on the kitchen counter? Not this little treasure. Nope. Always on the counter.)" —Katherine
