Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) is projected to lose the Republican primary in Florida’s 7th Congressional District on Tuesday amid allegations of domestic violence.

Mills, 46, has been accused of assaulting a woman and threatening to release nude images of a woman in a separate incident. He has also been accused of violating campaign finance law and lying about aspects of his military service.

President Donald Trump endorsed Mills for reelection in February, but has not mentioned him since. And in a list of endorsements for other Florida contests that Trump posted to his Truth Social account last Tuesday, Mills’ name did not appear.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said Friday that he did not support Mills.

“I have not endorsed Cory Mills, and I do not support Cory Mills,” DeSantis told reporters.

Mills, who was seeking his third term in Congress, had to fend off three Republican primary challengers while also under investigation by the House Ethics Committee over allegations he benefited from contracts from the federal government.

Last year, Mills was investigated over allegations he assaulted a 27-year-old woman. The charge was later dropped, but Mills was accused later that year of threatening to release nude images and videos of his ex-girlfriend after she broke up with him.

Lindsey Langston, who was crowned Miss United States in October 2024, told police Mills sent threatening messages after she ended their three-year relationship.

“Since February 20th of 2025 Cory has contacted Lindsey numerous times on numerous different accounts threatening to release nude images and videos of her, to include recorded videos of her and Cory engaging in sexual acts,” a police report obtained by Drop Site News reads.

In October, a Florida judge granted Langston an order of protection against Mills.

Mills also faced eviction from his Washington, D.C., apartment last year after owing more than $85,000 in unpaid rent. He paid the money back the following month after his landlord took him to court.
