"HR got involved, people started picking sides like it was a TV show, and meetings were suddenly way more awkward. Productivity that week was basically zero."

"The wife leaves her house and tells her husband that she is going to her parents because her mom is sick. Two days later, the husband, HR woman, and wife are called to see higher management. Both the man and the HR woman were fired immediately. The wife kept her job and divorced her husband. We were talking about it for months."

"The teammate came back and started shrieking and freaking out. The manager had sent a resignation email as written by the teammate, and then responded as the manager accepting the resignation. The manager responded that the employee shouldn't have left the laptop open. HR got involved. The employee kept her job for a while but was fired within a couple of months of the incident. Around the same time, the manager got transferred to another team within the department."

"Our managers would bring it up at stand-ups to see if anyone had any information. They also threatened to go nuclear and install cameras in the bathroom, but it didn't happen while I was there. I ended up finding a new job before the mystery floor pooper was found. The job was shitty, even though this is where I had dreamt of working as early as my first year of high school."
