‘Don't Look At Me’: Laura Ingraham Seems To Deny Reality In Chat With James Carville

Fox News host Laura Ingraham appeared to deny that she ever supported President Donald Trump’s war against Iran in an interview with guest James Carville on Wednesday. While outlining his advice for Democrats should they win the midterms, Carville urged them to get out of the war and said Trump never should have started it. That prompted Ingraham to say, “Don’t look at me. I wasn’t for it. I was never for it.” But that’s not what the record seems to indicate. Carville: You want to bring energy prices down, get out of Iran. He had no business being there in the first place. No one wants you there.Ingraham: Don't look at me. I wasn’t for it. I was never for it. pic.twitter.com/89qG95LCab Nearly two weeks after the war started, Ingraham said, “It demonstrates how critical it was for President Trump to act when he did. Because if Iran is so much more powerful than even the establishment and all its experts thought, imagine how much worse the situation would be if Iran had a nuclear weapon.” In April, she said the U.S. attacks would be “ultimately a huge gift to future generations.” Ingraham has previously attempted to distance herself from her initial support for the war. In fact, she gave Carville a similar spiel on Fox News last month, saying she hadn’t “been” for the war “from day one.” The price-spiking conflict could prove to be Trump and Republicans’ Waterloo in the midterms. Democrats have a solid chance of retaking both the House and Senate, according to the latest polling.
