Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) on Wednesday offered a behind-the-scenes look of sorts as to whether Ronald Reagan had a thing for ... well, behinds.

“Did Ronald Reagan talk about other Republicans’ asses?” asked Fox News’ Jesse Watters while just feet away from Gingrich, who failed to address the former president’s private preferences in his 1994 Contract with America.

Earlier in the show, Watters tossed to a clip of Donald Trump talking on Tuesday about studying Sen. Jon Husted’s (R-Ohio) cheeks, the second such occasion that the president spilled on checking out the senator’s rear end.

Watters’ question got a hearty chuckle out of Gingrich before he broke the not-so-booty-ful news on live TV.

“To the best of my knowledge — and I knew Reagan pretty well — he was not an ass man,” said the former House speaker, adding, “at least not about guys.”

“I’m not going to go any further than that.”

He cut off Watters seconds later as the host tried to dive right into Trump’s midterm “tush push.”

“How do you come up with this?” he interjected.

“I’m just playing off Trump,” Watters remarked.
